Honestly, my opinion on whether or not it would be okay for men to be feminists is this- trans men, AMAB nonbinary, trans masc people can be feminists, but cis men can not be feminists (they can be feminist allies though), but they cannot be feminists because they do not experience systematic misogyny(whether it be directed or misdirected) nor are they victimized by patriarchy in the way that women (both cis and trans), trans men, and nonbinary people (both AFAB and AMAB) are.

suzy rants while crying: I've recently started the process of changing my career/career goal from museum work and working in the art history field to being a teacher and trying to work in k-12 as a history teacher and I can't even lie and say that it's not because in the past month or two I've begun to feel this deep sense of worthlessness to everything I do in my art history and museum studies classes. like obviously I know what we study matters and art history matters and all of this stuff is important but it doesn't feel that way, when I'm sitting and writing an essay about a museum I've never even been too and how horrible they are I don't feel like I'm making an impact or doing anything really of value to anyone. Like seriously how does any of this help the world that is currently burning and I tried to express how I've been feeling lately to some classmates in my major and they basically just told me that it's understandable but everything we do is really important but i just don't feel like that's the truth. is sitting in a class in the university we pay 30k a year to attend, in a new building, talking about a field with 76% white members of that field with the requirement of up to 6-8 years of schooling really positively impacting cultural knowledge and improving studies of history and representation of minorities in that group? We're the type of people that are making the field worse and I know we all care about those issues but how is what we're doing helping? this cannot be the peak of our activism and impact on other people's lives. I also just feel like such a fake, I've shared my interests in becoming a teacher to my classmates and since then it's felt like there's this invisible wall between me and them since they all want to go into the museum field, they all love research and seem to never have this burn out or these questions. I feel like such a stranger in a major and subject that I still love and have spent three years in, I want to use my knowledge of art history to make me a better history teacher but I feel like my joy has been lost recently. I feel like Im making a mistake no matter what I do because I either follow a career path I don't feel completely happy with that would cost me thousands and is well known for burning their employees out within 5 years and try to find my love of art again and keep my social circle or I follow what I really believe is my career where I can help kids personally and encourage them to explore history through new perspectives and lose my friends and continue to feel like I don't deserve to be in the major I'm in that I love.

tiny rant:

my friend from my hometown was supposed to drive up and come visit me tomorrow, she told me last minute today that she wouldn't be coming due to her family situation and as much as I understand her family situation, this has been happening constantly across our friendship and I was so excited for her to come. I am honestly hurt by this especially because she didn't tell me last minute because she knew last minute, it's because I had been texting her asking for updates since she told me that the family stuff was happening. I don't know how to respond to her rn or be particularly kind in how I say it because what I want to do is be kind of pissed!!!!! I'm really sad tho, I've missed my friend and I was so excited to see her and I'm so upset that this is happening.

Why is it that 99% of the time when people try to type TF2 characters, they usually have no fucking clue what they are doing? Like, if it is not gonna be people using dichotomus typing (and god forbid use fucking 16personalities as a reference and not even bother trying to have even a basic grasp of understanding the actual Jungian theory that MBTI is based off of), the few that try to type using functions often end up having a really bad understanding of how the functions work (and they very often get their understanding of the functions from unreliable sources such as Funky MBTI Fiction (you know, the blog that had the fucking 8 core Disney Princess typings even though it is literally fucking impossible for a Disney Princess to even be an 8 core)) though, to be fair is way better than dichotomus typing/16personalities by default, but still, it’s not good.

Like, if your typings include things like ‘INTJ Medic’, Pauling as anything other than ISTJ, and god forbid, ‘INFJ Sniper’ or ‘INFP Spy’, your typings are going to be off. Way fucking off to be honest.

Almost kind of relieved that almost nobody on this hellsite has tried enneagram typings for the TF2 mercs because they’d probably type characters who are not 8s as 8s just like Funky MBTI Fiction did.

Well, my original blog @suzyblogsthings is being fucked over by the bullshit that tumblr is doing. 

Fuck it, I might just remake and start things over again for 2019. I always refresh every few months.

Update: I just decided to remake and I am over @histujinko now, where you can see me talk about typology, aesthetics, and my special interests and all that shit. I am still going to be fucking salty as fuck about the NSFW ban though, considering AT LEAST 90% of the problem is the staff being fucking LAZY (this ain’t even just pure incompetence, it’s legitimately fucking laziness on staff’s behalf for not actually doing their jobs.
