My recent holiday was something that I didn’t know I desperately needed. It was a time where I was beyond happy spending it with all my loved ones. It was a week where the excitement of exploration and adventure was out there! My heart began filling up to the rim and bursted forth with freedom. The indescribable joy that followed every hangout/call, the nourishment of every conversation became more and more precious as if time just stood still for those moments. Sometimes we underestimate how exhausted our previous seasons were until we take a step back, to take some self love and self care. We all have cracking and breaking points but I can’t emphasize the importance of taking a breather, to look at your reflection and choose you. Remembering that the power & freedom of letting go of certain things in life that just aren’t meant to be, to make room for newer and better things, however that looks like. I promise you that you’ll do so much good without. The pain may last the night but the joy always comes in the morning.
