"Swachhta Abhiyan" – the social initiative that may change the landscape of the Society
Gujarat has change its’ image from drought effected dry land to fast and aggressively emerging as financial super power. Stable Government, 24 hrs electricity supply and more importantly very high growth rate in agriculture, all these had played a great role in making “Vibrant Gujarat”. Now Gujarat has taken the Swachhta (Cleanliness) as a top and front running agenda of social transformation. Gujarat CM Smt. Anandiben Patel herself is playing a lead role with positive and constructive way to make this possible.
The cleanliness may not only change the social spectrum but also change the prospective of potential foreign investors. Clean Roads, Schools, Hospitals, Government and Private offices will overall nurture positive minds which may lead the nation in the future; Gujarat has pressed the right button on right time. State is now moving from economic revolution to social revolution. Due to right and responsible way of conveying message of cleanliness, the people of Gujarat have realized the importance of it. The major drives like this cannot possible without the great support of people of the society and here in Gujarat people are very enthusiastically taking this holy job on their own.
Thousands may have voluntarily registered for 100 Hours cleanliness and lakhs have taken pledge for cleanliness. This kind of initiatives boosts the energy of the society to contribute for the society. Kudos to current chief minister Anandiben and her team Gujarat for their proactive thinking. I personally think that habit of cleanliness will also remain useful in reducing our expenses on health sector; by making our surrounding clean we may considerably reduce the chances of getting ill. I think that small children from economically weaker section may get best benefit out of this as good health may also provide them adequate strength to grow and learn new think.
The proper growth of these kids may also help children of this society to fulfill their dreams. I am wishing Smt. Anandiben Patel and Government of Gujarat “Best of Luck” for the initiative of Swachhta Abhiyan to make our surroundings and society clean.
