Kitaro was astound and angered to find out that the swan princess that had befriended him, Tutu had been betrayed by those she swore to protect. The very maiden that he knew to have a gentle as well as a kind heart being treated poorly by those of her kingdom.

He felt sicken and appalled to learn that they’ve even offered her up as a sacrifice to the enemy of her kingdom, leaving her alone to be attacked by the monster raven’s servants.

She doesn’t deserve this!.

The yokai boy was informed about the situation by his own crows that had witnessed the whole event, before hurrying their way to him to reveal Tutu’s current location. The moment he knew where she was being held, he made haste to get to her as quickly as possible to save her.

The loud approaching sounds of clopping getas would surely alert the princess to know that help was on the way. And the moment her chained up silhouette came into view, the brunette cried out her name while using his remote controlled geta to break the chains that were holding her up. 

Just as the chains broke from his geta, Kitaro swiftly swoops in to catch her frail form. Holding her in his arms protectively, he gazes at her with a furrowed brow and concerned glint in his eye.

“Are you okay?”.

“No need to thank me, kiddo. All part of the job.” The job he’s only just started to do, so considering he stopped the theft without hurting himself is a good sign.

“It’s pretty bad.” Masumi grimaced, clearly reluctant to talk about her own situation. “...I was attacked by a werewolf a while back, so I suppose that means I’m a werewolf.”

In hindsight, it really wasn’t that complicated. It was just the discomfort that came with explaining that she was a werewolf.

“Tutu-san...?” Eri hoped she wouldn’t accidentally offend the older girl with her question. Momo-san had laughed - in a good way - when the same question had been posed to her, but Eri still wasn’t entirely sure whether it was an okay question to ask.

“Are, um... Are you a princess?”

Tutu blinked curiously, head tilting and brow furrowing in mild confusion.

“…Pizza..?”

“Yeah pizza.” Did she really not know what pizza was? He definitely wasn’t expecting this but he’d do his best to try and explain it to her, “It’s like....dough and sauce and cheese and sometimes different toppings. You eat it.”

“Do you now, Clementine..? Well then–”

With that, the princess scooped the doll up into her wings, giving her a firm- not too hard, of course– embrace.

“How’s that, hmm?”

The doll raised her arms as she was picked up, delighted to be surrounded by soft feathers once again. The hug was an added bonus, and she returned the gesture with as much love as she could give.

“It’s perfect. Thank you, Miss Tutu!”
