Swarmcon was a blast this year, sad to see that may be its finally year it was something of a training ground for me on running conventions, also some Zootopia mashup sketches I've put off from posting for way too long.

Man, where even to begin? This was my third and final year working on the SwarmCon Staff and holy cow has it been a blast. There’s been tears and laughs and plenty of sleepless nights but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. This year was the last year of the core team that put it together and as we gathered everyone together at closing ceremonies and broke the news we wouldn’t be putting the con on next year, holy fuck balls the tears were real. Like, studio Ghibli level tears. What really got to me though was the amount of love and support we’ve gotten over the years, especially today when we were approached by a small group of our congoers and volunteer staff who were eager and excited to be the new generation of SwarmCon. Almost cried again, not gonna lie. And then the fact we spent the day hanging out with Bill Doran of Punished Props and got burgers and beer with him? Complete icing on the cake. Don’t mind me rambling I guess. I’ve got a lot of emotions about finally having to move on from this hometown convention. I’ve got faith the new crew can build it better and stronger than every before and I look forward to coming back to a massive convention as a special guest. This is my first year going to Swarmcon and I loved being apartment the fun by helping with the maid cafe ( which turned out to be more butler's than maids,lol)! I was cosplayed as Nitori from Free! but as a host! I'm glad I stayed to help bc Saturday we had web fest in the Luna lounge and Sunday we got to slit the snacks with everyone apart of the maid cafe! Overall, a great con to just hangout and have fun after midterms. Hope to have one next year!
