Oh it's interesting about Hayden. I always assume people were just a bit extra about about how nice he is due to liking him in the first place and them maybe trying to convince themselves it was better than it really was because of the money and time investment (sorry I realize it's a bit condescending...).

Oh no lol you don't sound condescending (or at least not to me) I had the same vein of thinking, and I get it too, it's natural for people to get excited about meeting their fave - and yes, the entire thing costs a lot more than some of the lesser known conventions (I've had people tell me their photo ops with Ewan were like, $80 and they could chat with him for a couple mins in another con..... they don't let you breathe in the same area for that in swc) but I digress! As someone who replied to my other ask said, I think it's just that they're different personalities with different energies and since Hayden seems a bit more of an introvert/shy he does kind of create this vacuum around you lol. I was one of the last ppl to think I'd have an experience like that, but it really ended up being true.
