Don’t Starve - Day 31

Starting with Willow, her sweet lighter and Chester!

Nooo!!!! So I went around picking up manure, cause the beefalo stopped mating, then I saw some penguins and their eggs, so I went to see what would happen if I took an egg, well, when you get close to them, they jump on their eggs, to protect them. But I noticed a few eggs weren't covered, so I went to one, and picked it up. Nothing happened. I noticed a few more eggs weren't covered so I went and started picking them up, nothing happened.

Then I was hovering over an egg, but right before I clicked, it changed to "attack" and instead of picking up the egg, I attacked a penguin. Of course that means the penguins start attacking you! I took a total of two hits before...sadly...I died...

I felt I was doing so good too! I'm so...disheartened...I guess at least this means I can start a new game...But I don't wanna! I wanted to keep playing as willow with her sweet lighter! *sigh*

Don’t Starve - Day 30

Starting with Willow, her sweet lighter and Chester!

Oh wow! Beefalo and penguins saved me I think! I'm looking for some rabbits and what do I find? A gang of penguins fighting a herd of beefalo! And what's on the ground? A crap ton of meat, eggs, beefalo hair and even one beefalo horn and one jet feather! I collected it all! Now I can go make a drying rack, while surviving on eggs, then hopefully I can last my first winter! I'm pretty stoked about this if you can't tell! And the day isn't even done! I had to pause so that I could type out this news!

Don’t Starve - Day 29

Starting with Willow, her sweet lighter and Chester!

Once again, I only caught two rabbits...This...I don't like this, I also started freezing so I took damage to my health. Ugh! I think I read that winter has 16 days so that means I still have at least 6 more days to slowly, slowly die...

I guess I did find a couple berries, but that's still not enough! I did find more rabbit holes, I forgot they don't give meat, they give morsels. I got a piece of monster meat that I can give my bird to give me an egg though, that's useful. I also found a spider nest, so I could try to kill a few spiders for more monster meat to give my bird. The only problem with that is that I'm kind of low on health. I wouldn't mind trying to take on a beefalo, but once again, at low health.

I know it's late to do this, but I'm going to make a drying rack. That'll make the meat last longer and be worth more food. The only downside is that it takes two days to dry out. Oh well, I think I can do it! The worse thing about it is that I have to run back to my science machine to make a prototype. But I think I can make the racks themselves here at my other firepit. More food at more places!!!

Don’t Starve - Day 28

Ugh, only got two rabbits. And what happens at night? Stupid wolves decide to show up! Ugh! I lead them to the beefalo that are nearby and what do I find? The beefalo are in mating season again! Yet another ugh for that! I swear there was more rabbits, looks like tomorrow I will have to search a bit more.

Don’t Starve - Day 26

Starting with Willow, her sweet lighter and Chester!

So yeah, I was almost screwed cause I went real far from my base camp and didn't realize I needed two rocks! But luckily, I found about 3 of them just lying on the ground where I was exploring. I made a firepit and what do I hear? The sound of spiders! Ugh, Imma have to go see where they are so that I can take them out.

The place where I went is full of almost nothing but forest. I should go back to my base camp cause there's a spot close by there that has a lot of berry bushes and although they grow slower in winter, the berry bushes do still make berries. I just have to make sure the stupid bird things don't eat all the berries.

Don’t Starve - Day 25

Starting with Willow, her sweet lighter and Chester!

Ugh, it's not looking too good. I'm not sure what to do for food during the winter time. I'm going to find out how long winter lasts, maybe I can just out last it and start doing more things during summer.

Oh, the game only has summer and winter seasons, at least as far as I know that's how it is. I think I am done for the day though, I'll pick this back up sometime tomorrow, irl of course.

Don’t Starve - Day 22

Starting with Willow, her sweet lighter and Chester!

Winter is in full swing and it's still snowing! I think it just always snows throughout winter...I need to find some spiders cause I need silk but I can't remember what for...oh, for a bird trap. I need one so that I can see what my birdcage is used for! (I was too curious to know and went and found out what it does! Same with the Thermal Stone! I now feel that I need two of the thermal stones.)

So I found some spiders, they were too close to a pig village so they went down pretty easy. I accidentally hit the tilde (`) key and that brings up the console, I dislike when I do that because I don't know how to make the console go away so I have to exit to the main menu and go back into the game.

I now have enough silk for a bird trap so I will trap a bird and stick it in the bird cage! I even got quite a lot of monster meat to cook up!
