Since Isaac doxxed me and gave me more attention! Let me say this, due to my dv situation I need money. So in an effort to obtain money, I will also be writing books. Some of these will later be adapted into visual novels in the future.

God, I was so worried about Sweet Obsession because of how often the Katee Robert books I am most anticipating always end up falling short of my expectations. And I was so fucking excited for this one.

But holy shit It's definitely my favorite of the Dark Olympus series so far, finally dethroning Electric Idol, something I didn't expect to ever happen. I also think it might have beat out A Worthy Opponent for my favorite Katee Robert book in general, which my dedication to Peter Pan retellings and how high on the list that one is makes that an extra shock.

But I genuinely think I went into this book thinking I knew what was going to happen, and I was excited for it. But it managed to twist my expectations so beautifully, playing on what they were but not sticking to the obvious route for this story to take. I don't normally review books aside from a rating because I'm bad at putting my thoughts into words, but I need people to know what a standout of the series this is.

Of the three books in this series, this one is my favorite. Now that we’ve become familiar with Ayla, Theo, Marcus, and Ryland, the bond, and the story, this is the perfect conclusion. There is so much going on. It’s a whirlwind of emotions. The four of them are fighting to keep each other alive, struggling to show their love in the ways they need to. There’s never a power struggle. There’s no issue with dominance. Just the perfect balance within their bonds. Theo continues to show love through sweetness. Ryland is as protective as ever. And Marcus, is of course ever bit of possessive as he’s always been. There is so much that could cause their love to falter, but it only makes it stronger. Ayla stops at nothing to protect her men. I swear he body is addicted to bullets! I was never waiting for the next big thing to come around the corner. I was waiting for the next big thing between Ayla and Marcus, between Ayla and Theo, between Ayla and Ryland. The next big moment for them together (and not even in a sexual way).

She would, however, ensure that her face would never be called lovely or cute.

The first strike drew the blood curdling scream.

The second left a nasty mark across her baby face.

The third finished the job.
