EVERYONE BE WANTIN ZIM HC’S. HELL YEAH. okay i don’t know what qualifies as ‘unrealistic’ so enjoy these hc’s and don’t think too into the prompt <3
A. Zim - like everyone from his hatching batch - is HOH (hard of hearing). His batch (including Purple, Red, and Skoodge) are considered the loudest, noisiest, and most obnoxious ‘generation’ of irken - but it’s just because of a batch-wide defect! They all have damaged sound-plates (irken ears) and as such usually end up... a lot... louder.
B. Zim cannot, and I mean can not, recognize someone if they change One aspect of their appearence. Dib’s not wearing glasses? Who the fuck is he. He’s wearing a hat? What the fuck. Over time he gets better at recognizing Dib, but if Dib gets rid of his glasses and cowlick? It’s all over.
* Additional HC: Skoodge and Tak like to prank Zim in this regard by doing little things to alter their appearence. Slap an antenna headband on Dib - he’s an irken now. Draw a little mole on Skoodge’s face - Zim has to squint at him long and hard and try his best to not wonder if that’s Tak. Straighten her antennae and put on a new outfit - where’d Tak go. It’s really fucking funny to them.
C. The name ‘Zim’ has been outlawed on Irk and any Irken Colony. If a smeet gets coded with the name ‘Zim’, it is immediately culled.
D. Zim is immensely smart, competent, and resourceful, and is 100% capable of doing literally anything he sets his mind to - he’s just also incredibly self-destructive and deep, deep in his heart never believed in the Armada, so every single plan he makes to take over Earth ended because he put .2% effort. He’ll give 110% to guarantee his mission’s failure because he sees the system for as flawed as it is.
