#BELIEVEINSWANQUEEN I know I'm super late, but I want to participate in phase 2, so I figured I should go ahead and introduce myself properly. I am Swen My name is Sam, I'm 30, and I live near Orlando, FL. I currently teach high school English, but I'm about to be unemployed because I just can't continue to be a part of this broken public education system... But I'm sure I'll find something else to do. *fingers crossed* I'm a Kinsey 4 queer weirdo - usually just identify as a lesbian because that's easier & I'm in a LDR with @takemetoyourlieder (Alex - aka the most awesome person on the planet). We fangeek together. I'm obsessed with Orphan Black, Kelly Clarkson, Castle, Marvel movies, the 90s in general & of course Swan Queen! P.S. I wore this shirt when I met Lana at Spooky Empire last year and she said she liked it. *squee!!!* I love Swan Queen I'm one of those weirdos who just happened to tune in to the pilot of OUAT when it first aired. Partly because the idea intrigued me, largely because I liked JMo on House. Then Henry dragged Emma to Storybrooke where she met Regina, and the way they interacted with each other failed - epically - to come across as heterosexual. So god help my poor queer soul, I was hooked immediately. As a creative writing major in college, I learned a lot about story telling, and from day one, Swan Queen as a slow burn love story has always been the best, most interesting potential outcome for OUAT. I love Swen At the end of season 1 (which, let's all remember how epic season 1 truly was) I didn't know how I'd get through hiatus without my weekly dose of SQ on my screen, but then there was Swen. My tumblr dash was full of fanart and gifs, fanfic sites had quality full-length stories, people wanted to analyze the ship in depth. And suddenly the show became secondary - especially as the seasons went on and canon became almost unbearable at times. There is so much talent and passion in Swen, it's truly amazing. I love you awesome nerds. <3
