Cats like Swift and Longtail still have warrior duties, but they are granted a lot of leniency. It is highly recommended that they have someone with them when they leave camp, even for just a walk to stretch their legs, in case they're attacked. And they shouldn't be left alone in battle. But they aren't helpless. They slowly learn to accommodate their disabilities without sacrificing functionality. Honestly, this is a major point I wanted to address, as this balance is extremely difficult for any disability.
