It was a new day in The Amazing Digital Circus, and Pomni and Ragatha found themselves together in a small, white room.
That day, Caine had decided to put the group through a trust exercise. His last attempt at such hadn’t gone exactly as planned, so he had devised a new activity for them to try out.
“You will each be paired with one other person at random, and teleported to a private room. There, you will take turns revealing one of your most ticklish or stab-able spots, and trust the other not to tickle or stab you there! The choice is yours!”

Pomni glanced towards the nearest wall, hanging on which were a number of sharp knives.
“So, uh, we’re not doing the knife one, right?” She inquired, looking back at Ragatha.
“Huh? Oh! Yeah, no. I don’t really feel like stabbing anyone, or… being stabbed.” She gave a weak smile.
“I think that whoever is going first is supposed to sit on that stool.” Pomni noted, pointing at a small, wooden stool in the centre of the room.
“Oh! I can go first. I don't mind.”
Ragatha made her way over to the stool, with Pomni trailing behind. Ragatha sat down, as Pomni stood behind her.
“So, where should I avoid?” Pomni’s hands hovered near Ragatha’s sides.
Ragatha felt her face heat slightly. “W-well, uhm, I guess that my hips are a pretty bad one.”
“Got’cha.”
Hesitant, Pomni gave a small poke to Ragatha’s ribs. She flinched away in response.
Pomni gave another poke, this time to Ragatha’s stomach. She flinched away even harder.
Pomni chuckled. “Maybe we should have used the knives. Might’ve been easier.”
“Sohorry.” Ragatha giggled. “I can’t help it. We could always juhUST-!”
Ragatha cut herself off with a squeal as Pomni squeezed her sides, quickly moving her hands to cover her mouth.
“How about we give this a try?” Pomni moved to skitter her fingers against the doll’s sides.
Ragatha pulled her legs in close to her body, as muffled giggles sounded from behind her hands.
“I hope we’re doing this right.” Pomni mumbled as she dug her fingers in further.
Ragatha practically curled into a ball, kicking out her legs.
“You don’t have to stifle your laugh, you know.” Pomni said, her fingers travelling onto Ragatha’s stomach. She began to lightly spider over the surface.
Ragatha’s giggles quickly turned to laughter as she gripped onto Pomni’s wrists, not pushing her away.
“AHAHAHA! POHOMNI!”
Pomni chuckled once more. “You want me to stop?”
“NOHO- JUHUST MOHOHOVE!”
Pomni raised an eyebrow, but obliged. “Alright then.”
Pomni moved her wiggling fingers under Ragatha’s arms, with Ragatha’s laugh calming to giggles.
“Ehehe! Hah! P-Pomni?”
“Yes?”
“Yohou can gehet my hips ihif you wahant toho.”
Pomni halted the action. “But… wouldn’t that, like, eliminate the whole point of the exercise?”
“Oh, I suppohose. You don’t have t-EEK!”
Ragatha shrieked as Pomni squeezed her hips, with Pomni then pulling back her hands.
Ragatha caught her breath as Pomni crossed over to her front.
“You okay? I didn’t go too far, did I?”
Ragatha waved her hand dismissively. “Oh no, not at all!”
Steadying herself, Ragatha stood up from the stool and motioned to where she had just been seated.
“I believe it’s your turn, Pomni!”
“Oh, right.” Pomni slowly approached the wooden object and sat down. “Uh, I guess if I were to pick somewhere bad, I would probably say my sides.”
Ragatha shuffled behind her. “Loud and clear!”
Reaching out, Ragatha gently prodded either side of Pomni’s neck, causing the jester to scrunch up her shoulders and let out a small snort.
“Oho, this is rather fun.” Ragatha chirped, reaching around Pomni and giving her knees a squeeze.
“Nahaha-! Rahagatha!” Pomni attempted to shoo Ragatha’s hands away, but they instead moved to her back, scribbling across the surface.
Pomni lurched forward, awkwardly grabbing back at Ragatha’s wrists. “Ahack! Nohoho!”
Ragatha readjusted herself once more, this time wrapping her arms around Pomni in a half-embrace. She then wiggled her fingers into Pomni's stomach.
“I’ve got you now!” Ragatha teased, as Pomni squirmed around in her hold.
“AHAHA! OKAHAY! I GIHIVE!” Pomni laughed out, gripping onto Ragatha's arms.
Ragatha then slowed her hands, releasing her hold on Pomni as she took a step back. “You alright?”
A winded Pomni raised a thumbs-up into the air. Ragatha couldn’t help but giggle.
“I wonder if anyone chose the knife option.” Ragatha mused, glancing at the blades on the wall. Pomni lifted herself up to her feet.
“Wouldn’t surprise me.”
Just then, a burst of confetti exploded in the air, and a door materialized in the corner of the room. The pair glanced at one another before making their way towards the exit.
Having completed the exercise, the two definitely felt closer, which would aid them both as they navigated the complexities of living in their strange, digital world.
