HELLO EVERYONE! I’m sure you have all seen the switch emulator posts floating around, and how it’s a free program to play switch on your computer! Well, the posts aren’t wrong exactly, but all posts i’ve seen about the emulators are missing a key component to getting the emulator to work properly.
YOU HAVE TO HAVE A SWITCH TO GET THE EMULATOR TO WORK.
So. You’re probably asking why you need a switch for the emulator to work, right? Let me get a little techie here.
Basically, after downloading the emulator, there is A LOT more stuff you need to do than just download the application. Most of the time, you have to have a firmware, dump keys, etc. You can download a firmware easily if you find the correct links from youtube videos about the emulator. But a very important thing about getting the emulator to work is dumping the keys. But, to be able to dump the keys onto your computer, you need a switch to dump the keys onto your computer. You also need a microsd card and RCM jig for the switch, which unless you happen to have a microsd card built into your computer and a RCM jig lying around, these both cost money.
By the way, if you have all these things and are willing to download the emulator onto your computer, most commercial nintendo games (like acnh) are VERY glitchy and are bound to crash and bug out. Thanks for reading, I would appreciate if this got spread around so people are aware before they download the emulator!!
