i once built a nixie tube clock that i liked but i don’t have the energy/time/tools to do that again and buying one premade is $$$ and it’s a lil too steampunk-y for me overall
i’ve found a couple like “wood look” options that are visually nice but they all have terrible reviews. a genuine bummer. you’ll be the first to know if i find an actual good solution

Nooo can you negotiate? Mine was also available for immediate move in but I had a month, I managed to pay double rent for only 1.5 weeks
My current building does not allow you to break your lease (you still end up on the hook for the remainder of rent no matter what) and rentals in NYC go so fast there’s no way they would hold it for me/not charge me for the new place.
i’m really bummed about it
