''I've seen the Empire's weakness. We must change to survive.'' - The Emperor's Wrath, Rahleigh.
some good SWtOR for a change...! :D @queen-scribbles's cutie boy Tragen!
Tysm for commissioning me again! The lighting in this was so fun eheh
I am SO normal about the idea of Theron awkward-with-feelings Shan and a light side Sith outlander/commander being his partner. The Commander finally getting an opportunity to do something truly good, and trying to genuinely change for the better, but being brought back to their old habits and feeling horrible about it all the while Theron is just standing there. He does believe that they could never become any kind of monster and that it's ok to make mistakes on the path of healing but he doesn't know how to express it so he just awkwardly pats his partner's back while they have a breakdown about taking pleasure in destroying something That One Time.
A commission that I forgot to publish earlier. A little reminder to myself of the times when I was crazy about drawing Twi'leks. Oh times.
First time playing Old Republic DLC is like:
When you say star wars lacks powerful women characters:
not to repost my old art but this baddie looks epic enough to be brought up again (without cringy rest of that drawing)
anyone is also free to use it as a pfp or for other Kallig-related business
Darth Juno Klaa'ar
former apprentice of the disgraced Darth Baras, former Wrath of the Emperor, the Empire's Wrath
Juno Klaa'ar was born and raised in Dromund Kaas. The Empire is all she's ever known. Fully believes in the greatness of the Empire.
However, as she becomes the apprentice of Darth Baras and then later the Wrath of the Emperor, she begins to see the cracks in the foundation. She is determined to reshape the Empire to something more worthy than what it is.
She always wanted to be a warrior like her mother. She enjoyed the feeling of a saber in her hand, the stillness in her mind as she goes through the motions, the lighting in her veins as she uses the Force.
Juno was always a sheltered, spoiled child. She never knew the full extent of the inequalities within the Empire because her father kept most of it away. He was a Biochemist and after the death/disappearance of his Lord Wife, he took his daughter deep into the jungles of Dromund Kaas or Yavin to do research. He taught her very little of the ways of the Sith though he did teach her how to use a saber and the Force.
After her father died in a tragic accident, her uncle Otho (the eldest Klaa'ar brother) shipped her off to Korriban (on Tremel's insistence) to be properly taught.
Personality: She is a no-nonsense kind of woman. Hates people sucking up to her, hates groveling. She wants things straightforward. She does have a sense of humor (unleashing hers with Vette and Jaesa, who she considers friends/sisters.) Her temper is long, but she doesn't handle disrespect well. Nor betrayal. (she'll be betrayed over and over and over again.)
Despite her tendency to show mercy on occasion to republic soldiers( even rarer towards the Jedi), she is a ruthless enemy for the Republic.
She is not romantically involved with Quinn (anymore).
-------
The Klaa'ar is a very old Sith family. Their ancestors were rumored to have fought alongside Lord Khallig. However, many prominent and old family claim something fantastical connections to old lines to build mystique and power.
Whether it is true or not, only the members of Klaa'ar would know.
Father: Lord Daxos Klaa'ar
Biochemist. A quiet and observant man. He loved his only child and spoiled her rotten. He taught her how to love science and nature. He had loved his wife, learned to love her with a passion that could burn out thousands of stars.
He died shortly after Juno's 19th birthday.
Mother: Theiya Klaa'ar (nee. Binx)
Formerly a Sith Lord. She was allegedly kidnapped and brainwashed by the Jedi Order during the Great War. There are rumors among the Sith that she is still alive, somewhere over Republic space, but there has been no sighing of her. She was an excellent fighter, killing hundreds of Jedi and republic soldiers in her youth.
Juno looks a lot like her mother. She doesn't remember her much. being 5 when her mother was taken and then 4 years later the galactic war ended.
[She goes by Theia Shan now since it's such a common surname. She lives on Tython and has never dared to step foot off the planet. She helps teach the littlest of the initiates the lightsaber forms. Most days she accepts that her family is out of reach. That they will never join the Light Side. She has spoken only once about her abandonment. To one particular Jedi that understood the necessity to abandon their child for the call of the Force. ]
a couple awesome sith ladies for @the-tomato-patch!!!
