I feel like I'm standing at crossroads right now. :(

I'm cutting off some people that I've been with for 5+ years... it's for my own health and happiness. But. I can't help but feel that I'm going nuclear.

Or maybe it was the act of me staying in unhappy relationships for years (romantic and platonic) that was the true nuclear move. :(

ive been obsessed with miraculous ladybug for years!! its so good and thoughtful for a "kids" show tbh. although i would say their target audience has changed over the years. i love the concept of the "love square"/"love tetrahedral". the idea of falling in love (whether platonically or romantically) with the same person with and without a mask on is just so beautiful.

valentine: best gift you've ever received?

my brother gifted me a set of really nice headphones!! they're made by @yuumei-art. they're the original cat ear headphones!! ive been following that artist since i was like ~13 and have been wanting them foreverrrrrrr. the story of how the headphones were made and the artists struggle for control over IP (they designed it themselves over many years and shared so many progress shots and it was stolen!!) and high standards for the treatment of factory workers in china (fair treatment and proper pay) is so inspiring and makes them worth it over cheap copycat ones tbh!

1975: if you could time travel to any time period, what would it be and why?

honestly... im not very interested in history so this one is a tough one for me. and also, im very much a person that commits to their mistakes so going back in time doesn't appeal to me. id love to go to the future and attend my own funeral. who is there to grieve for me? who remembers my impact? what cringe stories are being shared of me? also, i beg for the people that live past me to host a potluck and karaoke party at my funeral and sing totally inappropriate songs for a funeral (eg. staying alive, death of a bachelor, death by a thousand cuts)

14. what's your most bizarre pet peeve?

I know this is super petty...

I prefer to have my drink on the holder towards the back of the car so I don't have to blindly feel around the gear shift. So if I drive someone and we get drinks and they put it in the wrong spot, I get so upset I don't drink any LOL.

17. what 'small things' terrify you?

Idk if this counts as small but??

For a long time, I've had a fear of suddenly being unable to breathe automatically. Like, having to constantly manually breathe and dying in my sleep. I just learned yesterday this is a real thing :( It's called Ondine's Curse.

heey kinda weird question do you speak Spanish?

Short answer: No

Long answer: I can usually read and get the general idea, but I still have to look up a few words. I studied Spanish for about three years almost a decade ago, so some grammar stuff stuck around. I try not to shy away from a challenge, so when I see a post in Spanish I do my best to understand it!

melody: favorite artists

taylor swift: her songwriting ability is inspiring. the way themes in her songs interconnect and evolve even between albums. i also love that she's an album artist -- so many artists release albums where its only really the singles that are likeable... but her discography is skipless imo! phoebe bridgers: her songs have some really deep themes not talked about enough and her voice/tone compliments it very well! @yuumei-art : not a musical artist but rather a visual artist. she has some really cool techniques and atmospheric pieces. i highly recommend checking her art out!! some smaller musical artists I've started to love a lot lately: LØLØ, KiNG MALA, Clairo, Catie Turner, Mags Duval, quinnie

sun: favorite season

it's gotta be spring. i love wearing pastel pink/blue! summer is too hot. winter is too cold. autumn is also aesthetic, but idk in my experience, nothing good ever happens around autumn @_@

brilliant: what celebrity do people say you look like?

none honestly :( maybe once someone said i looked like olivia rodrigo but i think thats because they've never seen another filipino in their life before -- yikes
