Headcanons about Ricky pt II
Not as physically strong as he wanted to be. Rick is fit, he gets very high adrenaline, he can be aggressive and very fast and brutal, but he simply doesn't have the muscular mass other guys like Abraham and Daryl do, he's not heavy, he's not very big, he can be rolled over or dominated by stronger guys if he isn't very careful, his body is muscular but quite thin. His punches and bursts of energy are extremely hard to contain and he's deadly most of the times, but almost every fight that turns into struggle or weight / brute force / resistance battle, he tends to suffer a lot or just lose it. He seeks to compensate that with his wits, strategies, combat intelligence, small blades he can pierce vital spots with and weapons that don't require too much physical capacity to be used effectively, like he swaps a machete for a hatchet, since the hatchet due to weight distribution is easier to swing and requires less muscle to be effective in combat, being able to use it for longer as well.
2. He is very VERY reserved and would hate to be in any situation when he's exposed or vulnerable in front of others. He feels uncomfortable when he's shirtless or tied or when people stare him too much for whatever reason, even though he pretends he doesn't mind and acts strong. He doesn't like teasing from strangers, he's not a womanizer and feels quite annoyed and even attacked when people approach him with with flirting or cat calling etc, unless he already has some level of mutual relationship with the person. Even if he does, he would rather not be teased in front of others.
3. Rick often is hit with surprise and frustration when he sees how emotions tend to force a strong bias onto his logical and moral arguments / rationing. He wants to be morally right, he wants to be the hero, he wants to be the logically correct one, but sometimes he distorts all the logic and morals to justify raw emotion based actions, as example, if by rule Rick was being merciless towards enemies, if one of them happened to be an old friend, he would act differently and try to find a logical or moral excuse instead of just admitting he is emotionally tied to that old friend, even if the old friend doesn't care or remember Rick anymore.
