SXSW Day 2
It seems that Bill Nye The Science Guy won the buzz award for SXSW Day 2 (aka SXSWet)! The Amplifan crew escaped the rain and sought refuge with Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks at The Mohawk Austin. What was your top find for Day 2? Remember to get on the list at http://amplifan.com/sxsw to follow our SXSW schedule, and for a chance at tickets to the Heartbreaker Banquet hosted at Willie Nelson's "Luck, TX" ranch on Thursday, March 13th. [hint] We'll be giving away 10 tickets tomorrow via email ... and look for a chance to grab a pair downtown ATX this afternoon!
Ah fuck it, that's your answer to everything isn't it Lebowski #sxswet we in here #feralfuture Kate working to door.
A little rain can't keep this party from happening! #sxsw #sxswet #techcocktail (at Old School Bar & Grill)
SXSW Is Wet, Hectic and PACKED.
That's right people, it's our second day at SXSW and it's STILL pouring. Perhaps, we should've paid better attention to the weather. Regardless, we're all drenched, cold and bundled together, ready to learn. Because of the rain, people are desperate to get on shuttles and then find their way indoors.
I was supposed to be at a panel about branding, but unfortunately it was at capacity, something I've heard a lot of yesterday and now, today. Instead, I'm at LEAN STARTUP, hopefully to learn a thing or two about start ups, since we have worked with start up businesses and will continue to do so.
Cheers to learning!
