Commander is a very fascinating format and the scene in my LGS has grown quite a bit. It’s to the point that we will have several groups going at one time, filling the tables with new and experienced players alike. 

I have gone through several different decks, varying in degrees of levels; however I have settled on making three that can deal with different angles and strategies.

Sydri’s Workshop EDH: First Draft

As the title implies this is my first draft for my Sydri EDH Deck. I’m going for a stax/control/pillow fort thing here....to be honest I’m not sure exactly what I’m trying to build here yet. I’m trying to stay away from being 100% degenerate, so no Mycosynth Lattice. I’m already running one of my new favorite cards  Aetherflux Reservoir which is pretty dirty when combined with Sydri, so it’s not like it’s a casual deck. I’m sure the list will change many times over through out the brewing process, feel free to leave ideas down below.

Hi there. I just wanted to say thank you, for all the help you've given to the community over the years. My question today, is this: With Sydri, Galvanic Genius' animate artifact ability. Will cards like Skysoverign, the consul flagship, still gain their abilities. Such as flying? Or do they have to be crewed?

As for your question, Skysovereign always has flying. Always. It just doesn’t do anything unless Skysovereign is also a creature. This means that as soon as Sydri fires up that Consul Flagship with her blue mojo, it’s already in the skies and ready to soar over some poor creatures on the other side of the battlefield.
