Sure, your ship is nice and all, but can "Work Song" by Hozier make sense on a playlist for them? Something to ask yourself.

OC Introduction: Ellie Haller — Legion.
Daughter of David Haller & Sydney Barrett. She has the ability to heal others, mentally and physically, to a certain degree. Unfortunately, she cannot heal herself, which would be helpful as she suffers from OCD and intrusive thoughts. She is kind, charming, and a somewhat shy girl. She loves music, art, playing guitar, and drinking chocolate milk. Some see her as a possible Mutant Messiah, and she simply as no interest in that. She's just a chill girl who wants to vibe.
Legion season one gave a beautiful love story of two mentally ill mutants supporting each other through their issues. They're messy and imperfect and damaged but they are so loyal and devoted to each other and it's like a dark but hopeful fairy tale.
They could have doubled down in seasons two and three and continued to build their relationship and had them as the emotional heart of the show but
NOOOOOoooooooooooOOOOO
Instead they did That™
There’s no better song to freak out about your flop ships to than “All Too Well” by Taylor Swift.

So sorry this is temporarily turning into a Legion blog but just... like... ugh.
I remember, probably well over a decade ago, when fan videos were a bit of a fascination for me, in large part because I’m really interested in but lack the time lately to properly work on video editing. When I would find a good one, of course mostly from HP and R/Hr, it would just be the best day. It’s been so long since I searched for them and even longer since I found one this well done.
Thank you.

Before we get too deep into the "Syd is horrible because..." vs. "David is horrible because..." debates again - UGH -
let me just point something out:
Syd has a distorted view of men mostly because her mom's love life was full of one guy after another, all of them chosen and discarded by her mom. They were after Syd's high society mom for the status and accomplishment of having won her, and she used them for similar reasons. It wasn't a great environment for Syd to grow up in and she was faced with grown up stuff way too early (her first drink was at 9). So since men and women just use each other in her mind, using her mom and that guy to try out sexual romance (again, too early) seemed like less of a crime. It was a disaster because she didn't know what was actually going on. Syd acts like she's more mature and knowledgeable now, but her worldview is still skewed and she thinks of romantic relationships as a power play and men as being deceptive and wanting control (which is true in some cases). She's perpetually stuck inside her teenage self with this unfulfilled dream of a loving, perfect romance.
David's much the same. He uses women and sex to feel loved and worthy because a part of him has always felt rejected and abandoned (which he kinda was, as far as we know). He's chasing after a fantasy as well, and it consumes him to the point of obsession. He's perpetually stuck in an immature state too. The difference between him and Syd is that when reality disappoints him, he can just "fix it" by changing the people he's with into being the way he wants them to be, whereas Syd would just leave the situation and chalk it up as another deception.
So they're both horrible and they're both pitiable and both equally in need of gaining a much wider perspective of the world.
