There are 3 types of characters:
- One-dimensional: partially developed, little depth of character, archetypal and predictable, no backstory, little-to-no role in the plot
- Multi-dimensional: fully developed, rich depth of character, complex and dynamic, unique backstory, minor-to-major role in the plot
- Vethna: transcends the concept of “developed,” more layers than an onion, impossible to predict yet somehow always “on brand,” inspired 90% of the plot 💅
Anon I’m not sure you know how monumental of a compliment this is but AHHHHHHHHHHHHH
ASKJFDK THANK YOU SO MUCH
😤We’re all about about transcending the concept of developed characters here. Go above and beyond. There is no try, ONLY DO OR DO NOT-- okay, I might be getting a bit carried away there, however! I can’t wait for MC to get closer to Vethna and explore them as a character even more. 👀
Honestly as of now the characters I’m most proud of are Vethna and Sabir...though ??? and Amilia have been being developed to the point I’m almost able to group them with those guys.
