The oc for Syllabus Week :)
January 13, 2022
Started my last semester of undergrad on Monday. So hard to believe I’m almost done with my degree. Contemplating every single “what next?” that comes up and everyone wanting me to figure it all out now while trying to figure out how I’m going to manage all five of my classes this semester. Hoping I can get through it all and not get too overwhelmed or stressed out. Hope everyone’s doing well and staying safe.
Idk if anyone else can relate to this or not, but syllabus week always stresses me out. I look at all of the stuff I need to do in a short period of time and worry that I won't be able to handle it all.
So I survived my first week of nursing school! I’m already overwhelmed with the amount of assignments I see coming but oh well. Anyone have any advice on how to survive full time nursing school while working twelve hours a week?
My style ranges anywhere from church-going school girl of the 1950’s to international assasin who hasnt seen her family in 3 years and then everything in between and my personality changes with it so good luck trying to get to know me
1.14.19 | had my first 8 am class today and i’ve already decided they aren’t really for me... let’s see how i do this semester waking up 3 hours before my body clock :(
So, I would like to know what syllabus week is, because I see people on here posting about it and how after syllabus week is when the real work begins. My school does 20 minutes of this “syllabus week” before they’re like “we still got time, so we’ll just jump right on in.” 😂 Literally, I have 3 pages of notes from 30 minutes of a lecture yesterday. We went over the syllabus and then we started right in on chapter 1 (good thing I’m already loving the class). In another class, I have already have a 2-page discussion post due in 2 days.
But here’s some pictures I took back in December when I was studying for my inorganic/general chemistry I final.
You know it’s going to be a long semester when the first thing you look for on the syllabus is how many unexcused absences you can have without failing.
