Man the sindorei lore always gets me, for some reason I was eligible to do the Sindorei heritage armor quest, despite already having done it and acquiring the armor some time ago.

But I'm doing it again because I'm a sucker for lore, but I'm doing on my dark ranger au of Mavryne and oh boy it just hits different.

Odin of Gibraltar The monkeys on top of the cliff of Gibraltar lives well protected lifes, but not without some infighting. Or maybe this one gave its eye away away for wisdom, like the old one-eyed allfather god of Northern Europe did. Odin, or Woudin/Wodin in old germanic, is the leader of the Norse pantheon of gods and is still remember today by the weekday Wednesday - (W)Odins day. The Barbary macaque (Macaca sylvanus) are of same stock as the monkeys in Northern Africa. They are thriving and growing in numbers as the only monkeys still in the wild in Europe. They probably arrived when there was a land bridge between the two continents. According to another legend, they arrived via secret underground tunnels under the Gibraltar strait into St Michaels cavern. Like all macaques, the family groups are matriarchal, centered round the female mothers. Unique for the Barbary-variant is the close relations the male members are expected to develop bringing up the young in the group. Anyone who has visited temples in Asia knows how these macaques enjoy living in areas people visits. As spirit animals they play an important role in local culture and religions. And they do in Europe, too According to myths, the British rule over the Gibraltar outpost in Southern Spain will end when the monkeys leave the cliff.
