Happy Synaptic Misfiring Day! Fifteen years ago (!) today I started a webcomic that I drew off and on for 5 years, more than 300 strips. Life got in the way and I've said goodbye to these characters almost 10 years ago. I miss them. I've lost most of my files through computer failures and hosting issues. I don't have any of the original two versions left (this is all from the third and last version). I'm going to get back on that webcomic horse again someday. In 2002 I started draw a group of schmucks in a webcomic called Synaptic Misfiring. I drew 3 versions of the comic, with the last (and best) one running from February 13, 2006 to February 11, 2008. Its been 10 years(!) since I stopped making my last webcomic, Synaptic Misfiring. I still think about these characters all the time and want to actually fold them into my Lucy Winters. I did some sketches to show how everyone changed in the last 10 years. There's an explanation for Angela's eyepatch, I swear. I might do a full drawing of the whole cast. I was a pretty big Audioslave fan when I was working on my webcomic Synaptic Misfiring, and figured one of my characters, Sherene, was a Soundgarden fan in her youth. So I snuck in the Soundgarden logo. When I thought about rebooting the comic a few years back, I thought that I would make Sherene's on-again/off-again beau Bryce a Chris Cornell-like former lead singer who was a one-hit wonder. #2006vs2016 Art edition.
