Fanart Friday #21: Synfig Studio

The premise here was to show what my various art programs look like on the grid, using the programs themselves.

Animation time!

Definitely didn't take hours to set up because Synfig kept freaking out and error-ing random images and I had to restart because it wanted to pretend the images didn't exist in the folder they most definitely were in specifically for this project :)

I've decided an Idle loop for the sky and clouds, and I'll Inochi2d animate my boys.

The animation itself is nearly identical to how it appears in the show, the lines having been straight up traced, but it has been made more fluid by adding more frames. The coloring is also slightly different, employing more gradients, but otherwise mimicking the original shot closely. End of description]

I've reanimated a small clip from SU as vector animation practice! Well, I pretty much just traced everything, but that did help me learn how Synfig works.

I love Rose so much it hurts :')
