Synchronising Dropbox with USB Drive
If your anything like me, you want to have your dropbox with you everywhere you go even on computers that don't have the internet or computers on which it would be a hassle to install dropbox and download everything. Yes yes yes... I know you can use the web interface and get all the files needed but that can be time consuming.
What I like to do is to sync my dropbox folder to my usb drive every night. This way I know for sure I have the majority of my files on me no matter what the situation is. It's a little bit of peace of mind.
The software that I use is called Synkron, it's completely free and allows you to sync any two folders together. You can also set up schedules so for example your dropbox folder could automatically sync every 15 minutes.
