hello i need help identifying this leucistic raptor (located on the central coast of california) and i was told to come here
oh wow! that's an amazing find
My first instinct is red shouldered hawk-- a lot of the usual diagnostic marks are missing on account of the (gestures widely) white, but the overall shape and proportions as well as the faint streaking that I can make out make me lean RSHA
I did a little bit of looking and found two reports of leucistic RSHA also from coastal california, and they look very similar to your bird as well.

So yeah, I'll call it a Red Shouldered Hawk
