How we make our userboxes!
The Basics:
We make all our userboxes is Procreate (an app for iPad that goes for about $13 USD) — however you can use whatever app works best for you! We know some people prefer things like Canva!
Canvas Size:
We use the same template (we made it ourselves!) every time. Here it is for your convenience:
If you download this image the proportions should stay exactly the same, but just in case they don’t, the canvas is
780 x 180 px
That’s 780 pixels wide, by 180 pixels tall. If you want to recreate this, make sure your canvas is set to pixels, not inches/cm.
Little Details:
What font size is best will depend on what font you choose (unfortunately, font sizes are not universal, so 30 in one font may look the same as 60 in another), although anywhere between 30-50pt is usually a safe bet.
When making alter boxes we like to add their emoji sign off in the right corner, too! For us, this is always in 28.6pt font!
