Hello! Cute story.

A few weeks ago we were at Hobby Lobby getting supplies for my crafts. While walking around the store our mother saw the cutest stuffed bunny and showed it to me. We instantly knew that was a mistake, as Little begged us to at least carry it around the store if we couldn’t buy it. It was a bit pricey at 12.99, but she loved it. So, it comes around to the time where we’re heading to check out and we still couldn’t decide what to do. We didn’t want to not get the toy for Little, but we also were saving up money. That’s when our mother snatched it from us and turned on her heel to check out saying, “Oh, just let me get something for my granddaughter.” We jumped and said she didn’t have to before what she said hit us. “Granddaughter”. Our walk slowed to almost a stop as we looked at the floor in shock (Ash cackling in our head, by the way) “Oh my god she’s right. She’s TECHNICALLY her granddaughter. Holy crap!! How did I never think of it LIKE THAT BEFORE????” When my mom saw our face she just about peed herself laughing, coming home and telling our gf our face was priceless. Meanwhile, Little was practically crying all the way home from how happy she was that we had to make sure our body didn’t tear up with her, lol.

Hey!~ Question:

Does anyone here have headmates based on stuffed animals? JJ has a NPC based on her stuffed animal red panda she got from Omega. She has that rabbit I talked about she got from our mom? She talks to her and seems it could be a budding headmate trying to form, at least for JJ. Almost like a sub-system in a way? No one else has a connection to her even mentally but her.

She wants to see where this will go and I was just curious if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks!~ - Sam

Oh dear.

When you have a developing fictive you didn’t exactly intentionally cause/invite/make and now that they’re here, you’re helping develop them along because they clearly seem to want it, but that doubt sets in and you can’t tell anymore what they want to be or what they even are. It’s impressive how in the world of almost literal magic that is your mind, there are no rules-

-but it sure feels like there is and you REALLY don’t wanna mess anything up or hurt them in anyway.

I don’t really know where to go from here ^^” Maybe I’ll start treating them without a form and traits and let them build themselves from here with my support and energy...? I kind of get the impression they’re interested in a non-human form. A shapeshifter, maybe? They seem to be supportive and want to be caring towards me, but are only developed by themselves enough to be almost a comforting “says yes to everything” kind of empty personality so far. He was using that character’s voice to talk to me more clearly than I’m used to, which was awesome, but now it’s hard to do that. So, maybe we’ll just start over from here. All of us have been here as long as I can really recall in some fashion due to being mixed origin, so this is... New, different.
