A midterm less than two days away where I don't know anything and I'm up watching SYTYCV videos. But can you blame me? The music, effects (or even lack thereof), the sound bites, the storytelling, the sheer artistry of these videos don't stop blowing my mind. There are entries that I've watched over and over again, and it's not just the ones that are focused on a fandom (look at Spazzlings' entry "We Are People", it's about hope, fear, anger, love, and everything that makes us human and it's fucking amazing all you go watch it NOW).
It kills me how good some of these editors are. Ughh I wish I was cool and creative enough to make videos. To all you editors out there, you're super cool. Keep it up bc you're actually amazing.

SYTYCV Season 3 Final Results
So I happened to check the SYTYCV channel while I was at work, just on a whim. I nearly screamed in my cubicle. I resisted, thank God, but there was a lot of flailing that my coworkers took great joy in. But I couldn't help it. I am just utterly without words, I never foresaw this outcome when I entered this contest however many months ago.
I won SYTYCV Season 3.
You guys. I won. My heart nearly exploded and it is still endanger of doing so. I am just absolutely honored and blown away. And I owe so much to the lovely people who judged the competition - because I truly did learn so much from this competition.
It was a long journey. I met some really amazing editors along the way, too, and learned a thing or two about myself. But I really can't even find the words to surmise just how absolutely shocked and excited I am. I really can't.
Thank you guys at SYTYCV so much for the awesome ride, and thanks to everyone who endured betaing me and supporting me. This was a blast and I wouldn't trade the experience, regardless of the results, for anything.

[SYTYCV] Heavy Rain - Challenge 4
So this is it, the voting round for the challenge before the LAST CHALLENGE. This journey has been crazy, and I honestly can't believe I've actually made it this far. I'm nervous as hell for the outcome of this challenge -- and if by some miracle make it to the next one -- I can't even explain to you how exciting and stomach wrenchingly nerve racking this is. -collapses-
But you guys have been so great and so supportive through it all! Your kind words and gestures have been a huge driving force for me to keep inspired and positive, and to keep editing. Some challenges I feel I could have done better on and other challenges, I feel, pushed me to a point that I've never edited at before - and it's really just been an amazing journey.
So no matter the outcome of this round before the last round, I just wanted to say thank you to all you friends and editors who have been continuously helping me and cheering me on. I love you guys, and I definitely couldn't have done it without. The journey definitely wouldn't have been the same without you.
