"Ferdinand it is, then. Honestly I much prefer Elincia without any grand titles. Especially amongst friends."
They're not friends - at least not yet. However they are classmates, attending a ball, no less.
Elincia hopes it clarifies her intentions.
"The craftsman ship truly is excellent. I myself am far from home at the moment. Even within my own kingdom, I've never found much occasion for anything so bold and intricate..."
She thinks back to the outfits she wore in Crimea. Long, flowing but simple dresses whilst enjoying leisure time with her milk siblings. Light, sensible clothing when helping with household chores. Perhaps, most searing of all in her mind was the armour she wore out to battle - to protect her homeland and it's people. Most children imagined the life of a princess, now queen, to be glamourous. Whilst she had wanted for very little, fashion was a new concept to her. One she liked very much, that intrigued her deeply and she longed to learn more about. It wasn't really something she'd had a chance to indulge in before though.
"If you could pass on my regards for her work, I'd very much appreciate that! However," she lowers her voice to a whisper, almost conspiratorially, "if you could let me know where to find her, I'd consider myself truly blessed."
"My wardrobe could use a couple of new pieces and whilst importing from Crimea itself isn't a problem," Elincia pondered her words carefully, "I wouldn't wish to burden my lord uncle with finding me clothes. For my sake and his."
"Oh, I've already filled my stamp card but I thought I'd put any extras on the back." Elincia says sheepishly. "It's not that I regard these people any less, I see the blank space as somewhere to record new, happy memories. Hopefully with new friends."
