This was a bizarre effort. I started off thinking I'd really go for it (cause I'd been rather slacking all week), but then felt completely drained just as I was getting to 2kms. At 3 kms I thought I wouldn't make it, and started thinking about barely hitting my step count and coming back home. Then, just after the 4th km, I started actually feeling it? Like I was enjoying it?
Maybe it was the very late lunch? I went out just 3 hours after burgers 🙄
Maybe it was the weather? It'd been chucking down since last night, everything was wet and muddy 😒
No idea. Whatever it was, it wasn't pleasant. But I did enjoy the second half of the workout.
On a different note, I think my watch is bullying me 😭
Shut up! I know I need to start resistance training!!!! Can I, please, first finish my physio sessions and regain use of my right arm???? 😤
Anyway, I thought it would be good to start adding a tune from whatever plays during my workouts, so here's today's motivational sponsor 😅
I think, @fitgothgirl, you said you liked Korpiklaani? Raise your wooden pint!!!! 🍻
Oh, @healthymist, I think I figured out that 500k steps thing. I know I only did under 250k steps in May, cause I got a bronze 🥉 in the challenge:
(never mind the text, they messed up. It was 630k for gold)
But I found this under some of my other badges and I think it applies to that 500k steps as well:
So, yeah, I think it probably means I got to 500k in just under 3 months. A lot less impressive than 500k/month 😂
Speaking of monthly challenges, they probably realised not too many please could hit 21K steps per day, so the June challenge is severely cut down:
I don't know about this. I think 600k steps for gold might be unattainable for most, but doesn't that make it all that more desired? Now, if someone got gold for 630k last month and I get gold for 300k steps this month, it really doesn't feel a ll that great 😒
