June 05-11 2026, Catch-up
It's not been a great week, this one. I think June I general hasn't been great so far. Anyway, you live, you learn and all that nonsense. Moving on.

I did nothing. In fact, I don't even remember the day at all 🤷🏻♂️

5km is my absolute minimum requirement for an active day, so I guess I did at least that?

This wasn't too bad. I actually hit a max jumps record while skipping rope, which was good to see. This had been the first time since last year that I skipped rope or used the elliptical. I can tell you, my legs took days to recover!

I believe this was the first day in the new shoes. Remember those I got and then the sole came off on the first run!? 🤦🏻♂️ I had them repaired and then upgraded with new insoles and extra metal rings for the laces. What do you even call these holes? Eyelets? I think that's the one. Anyway, you can see this was a very slow endeavour. My legs didn't love it after the previous day's rope skipping and elliptical. Whatever. Still, some effort was made.

Another nothing day. I went out for a short walk in the garden, but GPS performance is terrible under the trees, so, yeah... This doesn't even count, so I'm not too fussed about it.

Barely counts as effort. Meh. As I said, it's been a terrible week.

Today wasn't exactly an active day because of exercise. However, I did two hours of... I don't even know what you'd call this. And it's now too late to bother explaining. Then, we worked on our tomato plants and then I worked on the northern side of the garden with the grass trimmer.
Food has been terrible all week, almost. Today's food was very limited. I need to go back to last month's balance, cause this definitely doesn't work now.
Also, need to focus more. I'm letting other things take over my thoughts and control my emotions. It doesn't help.

If you're going to get your guts ripped out, you might as well make light of it.
