"Theron, pass me that banner," Lana instructed. "I'll put it up before the Commander gets home."

"Fetch it yourself," Theron replied. "You have the Force, I'll have to walk all the way across the room to hand it over."

Lana rolled her eyes. "At least hold it up so I can get it from there." Theron glared at her as he did so.

Senya looked from one side of the room to the other. Koth was arranging the drinks and food on the table, deep in thought. On the other end, Kira was trying to put up more banners across the room, arguing with Scourge about how they should be put up and the intricacies of luxurious decoration. Her dearest Arcann was making sure the jukebox was all set up.

The banner in the middle read 'Happy Birthday!' with a second banner with 'Commander' under it. Clearly a sign of some haphazard planning.

Suddenly, the doors flew open, and T7-O1 rolled into the room, beeping with urgency.

Ship = just landed // Commander = back from mission too early // T7 = advises speeding up the process

"They're back? Already?" Koth asked, in disbelief. "We're not ready yet!"

"Well, someone, go distract them, or something," Kira suggested. "Who's the best at telling long, drawn out stories here?"

"Undoubtedly, you," Scourge shot back. "It's too late. Face it, we're unprepared."

"Ever the pessimist, aren't you, Wrath?" Lana observed, jumping down from her ladder and landing smoothly. "Kira's plan is sound as always. I'll go and greet the Commander. You all have about 5 minutes to get everything set."

"I'll come too, I actually do have something to tell the Commander," Arcann added. Senya shot him a questioning look. Later, Arcann mouthed back.

"I'm not hanging up the remaining banners, I'm still tracking the delayed gifts," Theron protested. "Besides, it's easier done with you Force-sensitives on the job."

"I'll get to that," Kira offered.

"I'll help," Koth added.

T7 rolled up to Senya. T7 = can help?

"You can help me with the food and music," Senya offered, smiling at the little droid. "Hurry now, we don't have time."

And then Corellan goes into "I am going to end you" mode.

T7-O1 was a T7-series astromech droid owned by the Hero of Tython during the Great Galactic War. Never undergoing a memory wipe, T7 developed a few personality quirks, such as referring to owners as ‘partners’. T7′s duties went far beyond the average repair droid, mostly from the adventures the droid embarked upon.

Why I Can’t Play A Dark-Side Jedi In SWTOR

Let me start off by saying I totally respect the right of any player to play their SWTOR character however they like.

You want to declare Skadge your favorite companion? Knock yourself out. You want to kill [X] ? That is your choice.

Having said all that… there’s a reason I can’t play a Dark-Sided Jedi. Either Knight or Consular.

I can play a dark-sided Smuggler. I can play a … mostly neutral-ish Trooper. I can play a light-Sith Warriors, Sith Inquisitors, Imperial Agents and Bounty Hunters… and I’ve enjoyed most of all that.

But I simply can’t do that kind of ‘switch’ with the Jedi OCs.

“Is it because you’re a Jedi Apologist Fanboy, SWTORpadawan???”

… No. 😠

Its because of their companions, and what their companions need from them.

Felix Iresso is dealing with legitimate psychological and professional trauma. His brief time as an Imperial prisoner and his memory loss have ruined his career. Is it technically possible to be kind and appreciative of him as a dark side Consular? Yes. Is it realistic? Probably not. A DS JC should be drooling to make use of the Holocron in Felix’s head.

Felix deserves better than that.

Kira Carsen has had a rough life. She was a child on Korriban, and that was rough. The Sith Emperor extended his consciousness into her mind, and that was rough. She fled the planet – something only two acolytes on record have accomplished – and that was rough. Then she spent her teenage years growing up on Nar Shaddaa, where she was constantly surrounded by criminals. That was really rough.

Bela Kiwiiks has been good for her. Kira says as much and shows it in her actions as well. But Kiwiiks is also fairly orthodox, and someone like Kira can find that suffocating. Nevertheless, for most of the game, her moral code is pretty damn close to ideal.

Kira will pick up pretty quick on a dark-side Jedi Knight. She’s not afraid to call them out, even if the DS JK isn’t inherently unkind to her.

She doesn’t deserve to deal with a dark-side Knight who will compromise her own ethics.

At the time Nadia Grell becomes an actual companion, she is reeling from the death of her father.

That state of mind – in a Padawan – requires an abundance of compassion and patience.

Most Dark-Siders are not known for those qualities.

Nadia needs better.

T7-O1 is best boy. He is the most precious little paragon in the game. Don’t rain on him.

SWTOR Headcanon : Senya Tirall & Finding Out Your Ex-Husband Is Even Worse Than You Thought

So! In Chapter 7 of Knights of the Fallen Empire, Senya appears to hit it off with Teeseven.

I already headcanon they've grown close, as Teeseven stays by her bedside after she gets knocked into a coma. At some point, Senya and Teeseven start exchanging old war stories.

Inevitably, this leads to T7 telling about the fight against Vitiate / The Emperor's Voice on Dromund Kaas, which Teeseven was present for.

Teeseven - in my headcanon - (and in some of my fanfiction) - has an actual holo-recording of that fight, regardless of whether or not the Jedi Knight and the Outlander are one and the same.

So Senya studies this recording. She studies this "other" version of her husband. The one who devastated planets and attempted to annihilate the entire galaxy.

None of it matches.

I've given some of my own thoughts about Senya's relationship with Valkorion, and - of course - he was a terrible husband and father. But he wasn't the complete monster that Vitiate was.

So nothing is making her believe that Lana and the Outlander are telling the truth. Surely they are mistaken.

Except...

Senya knows Valkorion better than anyone. She was by his side for years.

She's probably the only one living who had seen him wield a lightsaber.

After all - its not like its something he'd ever need! Even if he were threatened, his Force powers are unrivaled!

But he knows how. And she's seen him use one. And she knows his Form is rather... basic. (It can best be described as "Ew - get away from me so I can zap you with lightning.")

And as she watches the Emperor's Voice battle the Hero of Tython, she recognizes the style like a signature. Like a fingerprint.

And that's the moment she realizes...

Its all true.
