When I started shipping it if I did: day one, episode one. I got such Eric/Donna vibes and I was hooked.

My thoughts: they’re my babies. And I think they compliment each other well. And just help each other grow.

What makes me happy about them: literally everything lol

What makes me sad about them: the way the show ended with them. And the fact that Jay wasn’t really allowed to be upset about some of things Leia did put him through. Like messing with his mind back in s1. And the fact that Leia somehow didn’t know Jay had a sister….

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: when they write their relationship like JK or LK. Or write Jay as if he’s exactly like his father.

Things I look for in fanfic: fic of things we didn’t really get to see in the show. And cute future fics.

Who is feel comfortable with them ending up with, if not each other: is it weird that I can’t picture them with anyone else on the show.

My happily ever after for them: Something similar to what ED have, but simply bc Leia said she always imagined she’d have something like what her parents have.

Who is the big spoon/little spoon: I feel like Jay is the little spoon, and Leia is the big spoon. But they do take turns being the little spoon.

What is their favorite non sexual activity: watching movies together/going on little adventures to new places.

I like how she’s “the Mom” Of the group. She cares about Leia, clearly, and about Nate. She grows to care about Gwen too. She’s the protector I think 💜

First let me just say I hate that they made Betsy Nate’s rebound.

I do wish we could’ve had them longer, to explore their dynamic and what their relationship could’ve been like. Bc their relationship could’ve gone one of two ways, they could’ve had a relationship that was like Jackie/Kelso or Kelso/Laurie. Or they could’ve had a transition relationship(I think that’s what it’s called). Where they both learn what they need to each other before moving on, and becoming really good friends.

Niknate: lol I’ll be honest I’ve been so back and forth with them. Because half the time I fine them really cute(Like Nate trading his car to get Nikki her guitar back 🥺🥺🥺). And that they’re so good together, and made for each other. And then the other half of the time I think they’d be better off just being friends and exploring/finding themselves outside their relationship.

But I love them both to bits.

• My BROTP for them: Nikki/Leia, Nikki/Gwen. I see Nikki as a sort of big sister to Leia, despite them being around the same age. And of course, loved the Funyuns montage :)

• My OTP for them: I don’t know, since we’ve only gotten one season. But it sure as hell isn’t Nate. I’d have to come up with an OC if I were to ever write her with someone

What social media do they use most?

Probably Instagram. I can see her promoting products she likes- without it necessarily being a brand deal, sharing recipes, school stuff… and because Sam (her actor) sings, I can see her singing too

She’d also use tumblr for book reviews and stuff. Fashion inspo

How would you write Nikki’s arc in s2?

Ooh, this is a good question!

I’d have her either break up with Nate, or lay down the law. Like knowing how to spell your girlfriend’s name is bare fvcking minimum, y’know what I’m saying? And he obviously doesn’t trust her, since he was suspicious of her tutoring sessions. So he either has to grow some balls to be with her, or or she realizes he’s holding her back and breaks up with him.

Do I want it to be messy? Yes, I like my angst. Do I think it needs to be? No. I think it can be emotional but, um… less messy.

That being said, I want her to have more screen time! What does she want to be? Is she interested in medicine or business, like the show has shown? I personally would love to see her as a psychiatrist or the president and/or ceo of a company
