Karmichael: you'll have to talk to me sooner or later, Juniper
Karmichael: this is a small town and I can't be avoided
“I’m surprised you’re still experiencing morning sickness. I don’t know if you just have a sensitive stomach or if you’re in for a rough pregnancy.” Alaric commented, hoping he wasn’t overstepping. After all, she knew her body better than he did and he wasn’t a medical professional.
Setting the cup of tea down in front of her, Alaric smiling at her gently. “Hopefully that will help. I can make you more if it does ease the nausea. Are you having any other problems?” He asked, trying not to look at her stomach to see how much she was showing. @juniperthelionheart

BROOKE: you good?
BROOKE: making sure you're not dead and everything
“You are a goddamn saint for this, if I haven’t mentioned that yet,” Zephyr announced idly as he popped the lid off a can of paint. He didn’t know if there were spells to change the color of walls or if there was a way to get the paint on the walls without brushes, but he didn’t mind doing things the muggle way and since he had Juniper helping, he didn’t think it would be too difficult.
“And the floors still look like trash, so we don’t have to worry about dripping.” Walls repaired and in one piece, check. Doors on everything that could actually shut and lock? Check. Floors that looked like they hadn’t been scraped over by a dance troupe, a murder brigade, or a wedding party? Not check.
But first, paint so that the walls were actually finished. Daisy had Katie, so he didn’t need to worry about her breathing in fumes, and - oh, shit. The cat. “Should I lock up my kitten?” He asked as he handed over a roller. “Probably, right?” @juniperthelionheart

PHOEBE: Hi Juniper! It's Phoebe Kovac, from the storm? I hope you don't mind me texting you, I just wanted to check in and see how you're doing now that everything's settled?
Since Juniper was one of Zephyr’s closest friends in the country, it stood to reason that if she called needing something, then he was going to do his damnedest to help her out. When he decided he wanted a night out, it was Juniper he went with, and when he needed help painting the house, it was Juniper that showed up to assist, just like when it was his birthday, Juniper was the one on his doorstep with a cake and a bottle of booze. He certainly hadn't expected her to fit so neatly into his life, but it was obvious that she did and if something or someone wanted to hurt her, they'd need to go through Zephyr first.
Not that Zephyr was entirely sure who 'they' happened to be in this scenario, but that would be a question for later. "Juniper, where are you?" He called the moment he stepped inside, looking around for the familiar face. "Are you okay?" That was the most important part, after all, and unfortunately not an unreasonable one considering all the trouble going on with the war. Juniper had moved in an effort to be safe, after all. "What happened?" @juniperthelionheart
