There’s something about how long it takes Justin to figure out Taako as a character and in that same way it takes Taako so long to figure out who he is because both of them are missing half his heart. Both of them were missing the most vital piece of Taako.

i read a fic where it was sorta offhandedly mentioned that kravitz has truesight and like, that makes a lot of sense what with his being a reaper and all, being able to see through illusions and such but imagine-- sure, taako dropped his glamour on the day of story and song to make sure that kravitz still wanted to be with him, but i’m pretty sure that after that, taako would never let it drop again for pretty much any reason. And kravitz always compliments him and stuff and taako loves it for the most part, but he has a really bad day where he snaps and basically feels like it’s the glamour that kravitz loves, not him, and kravitz is just like “babe, i have true sight...” and taako’s just like oh

Today’s Davenport is ready to budgie on down.

Taako, Lup, don't go that way" Lup turns an asks, "Barry, what the hell is going on over there??" Panel two, Barry has come out of the room he's hiding it and rubs his arm sheepishly explaining, "Davenport's kinda in a ... mood. He's been arguing with Magnus for a while now sooo". Taako looks over to the continued arguing as Barry continues, "I've been hiding over here if you two wanna jo-", Lup cuts him off here and says,"Woah woah babe." and lays a hand on his arm. Panel three is a close up of Lup holding Barry's hands and smiling as she says, "Bear, we're adults. Let's go sit backwards in a chair and have an honest conversation with Cap’nport and find out what's bothering him." Lup reassures a nervous Barry, “We’ll do it together” Barry looks a bit flustered and stutters out, "W-well, alr-" but is cut off by someone yelling, "YO". Panel four shows Taako holding a small bird and gestures to it saying, "I turned Dav into a bird so he has to chill for an hour." Lup processes this for a moment. Panel five, Lup has turned while still holding Barry's hands and shouts, "Wh-Wha-WHY?!" Barry sighs in relief and repeats, "(Oh thank pan)So he has to chill for an hour" Taako smiles down at Davenport, who is currently a budgie angrily squawking and waving his wings in Taako's hands. He says, "I'm being cussed out by a bird"]
