Base is mostly done. Hard to get paint to stay on at some edges and corners. Keeps chipping off or something. Anyway, some tidying up to do where I've gone over, and finishing up little corners and edges, then I'll try doing the eyes more and start adding the shading or whatever you call it so it's not flat.

Paracelsus

Paracelsus was found by the Pilgrimage at a crossroads, standing near a destroyed carriage and the bodies of a crusader, highwayman, and a holy woman. She seemed to be the only survivor of an attack by a group of heretics.

She explained that they had been traveling, and something had gone wrong - they found themselves off course after passing through a thick fog bank, and were accosted by the heretics. She opted to join in as a medic with the Pilgrimage. She is largely atheist, and almost seems disdainful towards the pilgrimage. But she has opted to stay with them as she "has nothing better to do."

Despite her abrasive personality she is highly regarded in the Pilgrimage. Her skill as a medic and Physician is unmatched, and she has taken to making tinctures and "potions" as she calls them, which have proved incredibly vital, particularly when the Pilgrimage comes across those of The Black Grail.

Paracelsus seems fascinated by the European front. She seems especially interested by the legions of hell, and any daemonic beings. The Prophet of Joan has allowed her the unprecedented privilege of dissecting enemies of the legions of heaven, to better understand and defeat them.

for now, Paracelsus is traveling with the Pilgrimage of Saint Joan - The last survivor of her original party. Perhaps she will stay, or perhaps she will move on.

Sooooo I have been painting a lot these last couple of months, but have I actually been posting anywhere but Etsy? Noooooo. SO we are finally catching up on products that I have completed before the year is over!

This is the last roper out of two that I have sold, and it comes with its "normal" counterpart. These are considered large as they would sit on a 50mm base.

Once I get some red to paint the gem on his hilt and some orange to paint Ember I'll be able to black wash and maybe clear seal my Raleigh mini.

Raleigh is my level 9 Eldritch Knight/ Transmutation Gestalt Wizard. My DM allowed me to have the gem he uses as a spellcasting focus attached to the sword hilt and use it as both but with the focus being semi-hidden since magic is actually outlawed in this setting

I've been away a while, but regular posts should be happening soon.

The McMillan Brothers

Arden and Maxwell McMillian come from the farmlands in the midlands of England, far away from the frontlines in New Antioch. They joined the Pilgrimage of Saint Joan, in an effort to atone for their sins.

Arden, the older brother of the two, was known in the small community as a incessant liar. Nothing he said could be trusted. He was always looking for the words to gain something on the others.

The younger Maxwell was quick, alert and stealthy. He never stole much, but oftentimes he would steal something from the general store or a pie from the neighbors window sill. While he never set out to cause harm, or stole anything of high value, he was eventually caught.

Maxwell was taken to the preacher, who told him of the war in Europe. New Antioch and the legions of hell. Many knew of the war, but with how far they were it seldom touched their lives. The preacher informed them of The Pilgrimage of Saint Joan, and Maxwell convinced Arden to join the pilgrimage as his repentance.

Arden's status as a liar has led to him taking a vow of silence, which he shows by gagging himself before battle. Not even Maxwell has heard him speak since they crossed the boundary of their home.

Maxwell, for his part, has taken a scouting role. As the pilgrimage moves through the war soaked lands, he stays in front, using his talents to look out for ambushes.

Perhaps once they reach New Antioch, their self-penitence will be done.
