2, 8, 17 for the Fic Writer Meme? :) Thank you!
Thank you!
2: Is there a trope you’ve yet to try your hand at, but really want to?
No, I think I’ve covered them all!
8: Share a snippet from one of your favorite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.
This was tough. I’ve written lots of bits of dialogue that I’m proud of but trying to remember and/or find them is hard.
The bit I’ve chosen here is from By the dusk air (a Durrells fic). I love it because it’s funny, affectionate, (I think) really in character and fits the tone of the show pretty well.
The bed squeaked a lot, and very loudly.
“I’m not sure I can keep this up,” Louisa gasped, but then there was a thud of a door being slammed and Spiro laughed.
“Not much longer.”
“Will you please stop!” Leslie shouted down the corridor. “I don’t need to hear this!”
“Oh let them be!” Larry shouted from the other end. “Mother never has any fun.”
“I’m sleeping outside!” Leslie roared.
17: Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?
I usually write from start to finish. If I’m really struggling, then I will skip to a scene that I’ve got sorted in my head and then go back. But I tend to find that if I write that way then I lose motivation to keep going. I write in order because I want to find out what the end is :D

7, 11, 25 for the "not from the US" asks? :)
7. three words from your native language that you like the most?
Calembredaine, tarabiscoté, fanfreluche (hey you asked. XD) I loooove long, complicated words. I like the way they sound.
11. favourite native writer/poet? Charles Baudelaire, no questions about it. I know my favorite poem of his (L’amour et le crâne) by heart.
25. would you like to come from another place, be born in another country?
Ha, interesting question. Ideally, I’d say I’d like to come from a more exotic (as in hot, clear blue lagoons) place, but that’s already half true.
Real world talk here, I’d say I’m actually pretty lucky, let’s even say privileged to be born in France.
Now, if I could have been born in a country where race isn’t a problem, where your sexual orientation isn’t a problem, ... that would have been great, but as far as I know, that country only exists in utopian worlds, and in my dreams.
Thanks for the ask! :)
∞ ? :)
right this one is hard to pick a favourite lyric and it has absolutely no meaning behind it whatsoever but it is a BANGER and also accurately describes me on a night out
That Grey Goose got your girl feeling loose Now I'm wishing that I didn't wear these shoes
London Bridge - Fergie
[put a “∞” in my ask box and I’ll give you my favorite lyric from a random song]
10 & 13 for the End of Year Asks? :)
Thank you!
10. What song sums up this year for you?
ooh this is a hard one because i’m not great at remembering songs but i think this year has been one where it’s felt really long and i’ve just been getting through each day one at a time so because i’ve been listening to the album a lot, the one that comes to mind is Survivor - Emeli Sande
13. Did an actor/actress catch your attention for the first time this year?
Oooh yes, i mean i had watched Line of Duty before but i don’t think i truly appreciated Vicky McClure until this year, her hair was just fantastic and although she didn’t do loads in series 5, i did a rewatch and i just loved her.

tabsolanya replied to your post:
As a German I take great delight in mocking Germany tbh. It has become a tradition over the years :D
