when i was a kid i deadass would take apart my food and eat it in alphabetical order cuz it tasted better that way
#some foods like sandwiches or when i got a plate of food with sides id eat the sides in order and all separated#and it on god tasted so much better#im not as strignent as i used to be because my parents were like Dont Do That so i trained out of doing it in public#and also its just more convenient to eat a sandwich like a sandwich instead of taking it apart#but ngl it do taste better#hop on that#always eat bread crust first middle second#get a pasty you eat the crust then the filling#thanksgiving dinner its beans then carrots then fried mushroom then mashed potato then meat#i feel like im straight up correct abt eating stuff separate but the alphabetical part i think is a problem with me#because it does genuinely taste better but all the names are arbitrarily assigned since i can remember#if i encounter a new food i dont understand it so it can go anywhere#the parts that are known will still taste better if eaten in correct order in relation to other parts#the only sandwich ive ever eaten that tastes better as a sandiwch is daves hot chicken sandwich#but thats bc the parts lowkey dont taste that good but together they become good#eating daves changed my life cuz i never had a sandwich that actually made me understand why people like sandwiches#outside of being efficient and convenient to eat on the go#but yeah i tend to usually either like my food separate or all together in a bowl#i love american style tacos and theyre best eaten when you spoon the meat in a bowl and mix in cheese and hot sauce ahd lettuce and smashed#taco shells#to make the brown slop bowl#i always be eating food by putting it all in a bowl and mixing it up to be eaten with a spoon
