Hi Taco, first of all, thank you so much for your enthusiasm <3 I cannot convey how motivating it is to know that there are people watching and supporting me. It honestly still baffles me, and I can’t comprehend having actual enthusiasts for my work because I’ve never shared much of mine online!

Even if you’re willing to wait long, I hope that won’t be the case at all! I’ve been making progress today and sat down to answer asks just for a little break :) but again, thank you so much for your patience!

As for your ask, if gods could sleep...

SALVATORE. Dying inside. Their most adorable, loveliest, wonderful MC. The real deity of sun because the world revolves around them and also they’re so bright and amazing. They wouldn’t have the heart to move away, like no one should move a cat from their lap. It’s illegal, both in the eyes of the gods and man, surely.

LUCIEL. They’d smile softly and watch MC sleep. It’s nice to see them so at peace and restful, in that irreplacable tranquility people can’t attain when they’re in the waking world. A part of Luciel is jealous of mortals who can dream, for they wonder if they may dream lying with MC for eternity. Would gently stroke their hair.

CIOCANA. Would freeze for a moment, confused about who’s next to them. They sag against them in relief once they realize who it is, and after a few more seconds of processing what’s happening, their chest flutters a little. The feeling they have is indescribable; MC is willing to be vulnerable in front of them. They rest next to them as if they rather be nowhere else, and it’s... near unfathomable for them. They just quietly lie back down next to them and try to go back to sleep for little longer.

ALESSI. They haven’t had such a peaceful slumber in so long, and when they turn their head to see the warm lump next to them, they instantly know why. It’s astounding just how comfortable and refreshing it is to sleep next to someone again, who you feel safe with and you know won’t ever intend to hurt you. They take a deep breath, watch you for a few moments, before deciding to either make you some food or wrap you in something cozy.

Can you tell I haven’t phased completely out of my writing mode yet with how I answered? LOL thank you for the ask Taco <3<3

a question if you dont mind! i can imagine my child (aka Nikita) being a clueless fuck when it comes to flower symbolism and stuff and i can just as see someone passing him a bouquet of flowers which indirectly says "fuck you" (im 1000% sure it indirectly came from bernard) (yes that was intentional) in flower language and i wonder, how would the RO's react to it when they realize what it truly means. even better if they're in relationship stage and MC thinks its very 'sweet' of the person who sent it them LOL

(p.s. for more info, the bouquet consists of geraniums (symbolising stupidity), foxglove (insincerity), meadowsweet (uselessness), yellow carnations (you have disappointed me) and orange lilies (hatred) quite the striking bouquet with an equally loathing underlying message

To be fair, I think interpretations of the symbolisms behind flowers can differ greatly depending on one’s culture. But anyway, this is still a fun ask so why not? :))

Alonzo: “Sweet? Are you kidding me? Did you also think I was sweet when we first met? No, don’t answer that.” In a lower, calmer tone -- or what you at least assume is calm -- they mumble, “Who sent you this?”

Wesley: Gently, very gently, they say, “I think... I think someone’s laughing at you right now.” They look at you then, something akin to frustration pushing its way out. “Would you want to reciprocate?”

Owen: “Oh, uh, they’re good. They look good.” He clears his throat guiltily, followed by a nervous chuckle because he’s aware he’s lying. He doesn’t want you, however, to lose the smile over what might be a trivial thing. “Like, very good.” (If it happens again, his reaction will be a lot different.)

Jade: “Well, I suppose they’re still flowers. And harmless.” There’s a knit in her brows that confuses you, but before you manage to bring it up, she continues. “Oh, by the way, you’ve been pranked.” (She’ll find out who did it, though, and will return the favor).

The identity of the visitor will, obviously, be revealed in the next chapter. Whoever it ends up being doesn't matter much (other than they committed a felony entering your home), because you'll get to see both Blair and Wren in the next chapter!

HI HI HI i just read your IF and it sounds AWESOME ! can't wait for it to he released- plus all the asks and small snippets have made me fall head over heels for all the characters (much to the agony of my indecisive heart) so i just wanted to know if we can have poly routes here?

OH and also i wonder what would happen if all the RO's went yandere for the VP MC? like in a single scenario all of them fall (HARD) for the MC and now they want to posses them but gotta compete with the others for them- like a Battle Royale but the prize is MC 🤣

hi hi hello! sorry for a super late reply, i do blame both my adhd and stressful life lmao. but thank you!! it means a lot that i can make people indecisive about the characters haha, they do all have their charms don't they?

as to the first question, currently there are no poly routes planned. i've played around with a few ideas but the only one that has any legs to stand on is a v-poly between sam/mc+a third if the mc has a high sex drive as sam is sex-repulsed. otherwise the characters aren't attracted to each other. tried very hard to work a dane/mc/mona poly in there (because duh? the main three founders?? being in kahoots? would write itself) but it just felt forced. maybe as the game goes on? who knows.

as to the second question, i'm afraid the ro's wouldn't do much lmao. these people are very close to each other (excluding angel ofc) and wouldn't get in the way of each other and would talk it out. share their feelings and all that but ultimately they'd leave it up to mc to choose if they want to pursue someone or not, and they'd respect that.

there is a point in the game where a ro wonders if they have to fight dane before officially dating mc, but that's just because some have the misconception that our big dog dane is in love with mc even if it's just him being fiercely protective of them haha. that's the closest to a battle royale they'd ever get. speaking of which, there's actually two points in my scribbled ideas where dane is suspected to be in love with mc. best friend mistaken for lover trope, didn't know i had that one so prominent oops

on a scale of 1 - 10 just how resistant are the RO's to MC giving them the dreadfully adorable puppy eyes that they frequently use to manipulate them to their whims. if possible then i wanna see how Alex and Vincent would react as well :D

Alonzo: 6 (they think they're a 10 but really, Alonzo's not as resistant as they believe they are)

Wesley: 3 (there are very, very few exceptions)

Owen: 5 (he’s generally weak against it, but he’s also quite stubborn so)

Jade: 10 (sorry, you got no hopes if you try this with her)

Alex: 1 (shh that's a secret he's trying to hide desperately. He's completely resistant; nothing's going on here.)

Vincent: 8 (he has godfather duties)

imagine, what if the MC is dying after getting fatally wounded in one of their dangerous endeavors? what would be their(the MC's) last words to them and/or(your choice) the RO's last words to them? no whether they're still in their crushing state or in a full on relationship depends on you. but i wonder, after the MC is dead will they choose to move on and honour the MC's last wish to forget them and not chase revenge or go "fuck it" and go on a full blown doom mode hunting down anyone who hurt them. i don't wanna ask for Alex or Vincent knowing that my fragile heart wont be able to bear the angst 😭

About whether or not they’ll choose to move on...

Alonzo: They’d never really move on. They’ll try to do the things they’ve long set out to do, but there’s emptiness in there that they can feel with every second that passes. Choosing to be with the MC was a decision they didn’t take lightly, after all. There was fear all the way, doubts and anger mixed in with it, and when they decided that perhaps they could make it work, hope was born. That hope will die the moment the MC dies, too.

Wesley: Full-on revenge. Saying more would be too spoilery.

Owen: He won’t follow the MC’s wish to forget them, though he won’t actively reach for revenge, either. It’s... a bit complicated, truly. I can most definitely say that he will never be the same, though. And he’ll do whatever he can so justice can be met. Even if it means getting himself into huge danger.

Jade: Same as Wesley, though in her case, it would also mean getting the help of the people she’d avoided for too long. For her, this death is more than just a loss. It will push her to do things she wouldn’t have dared to do before, and Jade probably has the best chance of making those responsible pay for their crimes. This means, however, that she’ll be breaking a lot of promises she once made.

I actually still have an unanswered ask in my inbox asking about Alex so... apologies for the day I get to answer that one lmao. But yeah, those would hurt a lot more, I think.

Salvatore: They. Need. More. The days that follow, they frequently lean their head to enter head-patting range, and go out of their way to do things for MC, hoping they get rewarded the same way. They have a dopey smile everytime, but if MC refrains, they'd sulk quietly. They're determined, though! It will happen again!

Luciel: They'd blink in confusion the first time it happens. No one's ever done that for them... but it felt nice. They'd be on edge for a while, wondering when it will happen again. They'd never admit it, but they like it--a lot. If they hum contentedly whenever MC pats or ruffles their head, they never notice.

Ciocana: would freeze when it happens. Then, as MC withdraws their hand, they'd start demanding more, complaining loudly. They can't not do it anymore! That would be cruel! They'd go to lengths just to get them to do it again, and preen when MC gives it to them.

Alessi: Confused at first. As they slowly process it, a grin blooms on their face. MC just did that! They'd tease MC, saying they're really not as intimidating as they look, but they should do it again. For the rest of the day, there's an extra skip on the step, basking in the glow of receiving such a gesture.

HMMMMMMM i wonder how the RO's would react to the MC offering them a steaming cup of hot chocolate topped with some marshmallows :D and let's consider that none of the gods have ever tried it and in the human realm cocoa is really rare! it just so happens that our MC loves exploring the world and unexpectedly came across this combo on a small island far away from any civilization!

MC, this is not some weird and unknown substance, is it? They won't die from it? You mean they can drink it indefinitely and they won't fall over and die? This is... the holy grail! MC needs to show it to everyone!

Luciel: ... It's... good. They'd take a few more tastes of it, eyes widened almost imperceptibly. It's warm and sweet, and smooth on the tongue; perhaps the residents of the afterlife would like it. Maybe they can offer it to new souls to comfort them in their transition. It can be a whole new tradition.

Ciocana: !!! Why would mortals worship gods when they can just devote themselves to whatever this is? The entire world would collapse if anyone else discovers this. MC, they must make a solemn vow to keep this a secret. The world isn't ready for it. This is their special drink.

Alessi: They'd chug it down in large gulps. They've never tasted anything so sweet and glorious in their entire life. Granted, that isn't a huge feat considering what they eat, but this sets the bar extremely high. Is this something gods typically drink? No, this can't be man-made. It's divine.
