I hate when people say Jax cares for ALL the circus members. NO HE DOESN'T!!!! THEY ACCUSED HIM OF KILLING HIS FRIEND HES NOT GONNA "secretly care" AFTER THAT!!!

The only people i can assume he cares about, is Pomni. He used to care about Ragatha but judging by her monologue, she came on too strong and pushed him away.
Zooble im assuming is one of the people who accused him of abstracting Ribbit, I also think Gangle might have done the same just maybe not as outwardly as Zooble might have? We all know Zooble is very vocal about their emotions but Gangle is more sheepish when it comes to expressing herself so she may have said it in a softer way but it still hurt. And Ragatha, being the people pleaser she is tries to be the "mediator" of the situation. She wants everyone to stop fighting. Kaufmo...probably blamed him too or was just confused on the whole thing himself. Jax is hurt by all this, taking in their words, and becomes the antagonistic Jax we know today!

Pomni's new, shes still adjusting and shes the only person that doesn't hate him. Also she's real, It makes sense he would gravitate towards her, who wouldn't? Thats why he opened up, showed vulnerability A LOT and when she pushed his boundaries and he tried to get out of the situation in his own way, he blew up out of stress! He said a bunch of shit he didn't mean and that whole "playthings" thing is him trying to play the role the other characters see him as (or what he THINKS they see him as. But still im betting its the first option.)
