What I liked about Mauga was that he was a break of the gentle-giant trope so many shows and games have been doing, every big mercenary is actually a sweetheart that has a family and pet to provide with their heists, their crewmates are their best friends that are always there for each other, never hurts innocents, donate to charity or stuff like that; but Mauga really is a bloodthirsty killer while still being clever in his missions and even charismatic with his comrades to show some humanity in a natural way
