The miracle of Taeyeon’s voice..

I had a headache and have felt kind of sick all day..I’m listening to my “Kpop girls 2016″ playlist on youtube, Fashion comes on, and my headache subsides!

Haha. 

I’m still feeling a little sicky, mostly a sore throat, and I’m kind of hungry(I was about to make myself some chicken noodle soup, not because I feel sick, but because I LOVE chicken noodle soup, you have no idea). But, yeah. Today has been odd. Kind of. 

I woke up with a sore throat, and it hurt to swallow, and at first I was like “Oh my God, what if I have Strep?!” but then I realized I didn’t feel sick at all, just my throat, and I remembered my brothers girlfriend has had allergies for the past few weeks, and, well, when allergies affect me, I get a sore throat and a stuffy nose, or a cough(sometimes all three..do you have any idea how much it hurts to have a cough while also having a sore throat..). So, I’m guessing it’s that. Most of my “feeling sick” today has felt the way my allergies feel. I’ve had a somewhat stuffy nose(manageable, though, like, mostly when I’m laying down), a small headache(and based on the way my eyes feel, I think my headache is mostly due to being tired), and the sore throat all day. (I’m also a week away from when my period is supposed to start..so.) So, yeah. 

Well, after I woke up and had been up for a while, my parents brought me Sonic, my usual chicken basket(it comes with chicken strips, fries/tots, Texas toast, an onion ring(which I only eat the breading of) and gravy) and a cherry coke. My fries actually had FIVE tater tots in them! (This was actually the second time we had Sonic in 24hrs..we had Sonic for dinner last night, haha..). 

Then a few hours later, my mom, sister, and I went to Sprouts..without a list aside from my sister's personal one..so..we got more than we should have, and spent a LOT more than usual. BUT! I got these ice cream bar things from Häagen-Dazs (on SALE) that are chocolate ice cream in dark chocolate and I think they’re dipped in nuts and I’m excited. We also bought Cotton Candy Grapes, cause, I mean, come on. And more fruit, and other things. 

Then we came home and put everything away, and a little while later the three of us went to HEB, again, without a list, except mine this time. We got the stuff for me to make Sausage and Cabbage this week! (Literally all you need is sausage and cabbage. We got vegan sausage too, cause my mom’s a vegetarian(my sister never liked sausage and cabbage even before she was vegan)). I’m pretty sure we got a few unnecessary things as well, since, you know, we didn’t have a list. Then we came home and put it all away and just chilled for the rest of the day. 

I played with the kittens, with the laser light thing, and it was great! They mostly played with it on the slide, so that made it extra fun as they would get to the top(from the stairs) and then chase the light until they slid down, or they would try to climb the slide. 

And then! After a few hours of being home, my sister and I went to Sonic to get drinks and fries/onion rings for us and our parents. So, I got fries and a cherry coke. (That makes three stops to Sonic in 24 hours..actually..if you count the fact that my mom stopped and got a drink on the way home from work yesterday, then as a family we’ve been 4 times in 24 hours..and my brother goes all the time so..yeah..haha..). 

And now my best friend just brought me a Mrs. Baird’s Apple Pie! ^_^ 

I’m going to make my soup and then have that “pie”(for those who don’t know, it’s a apple pie made with a donut, it’s like a snack cake, but that’s not the right word for it..hmm..). 

Wow..that was long..and not what I expected to go in this post? It started out about Taeyeon..and then ended up being about my day? What? 

TL;DR: Taeyeon’s voice saved me, literally. Woke up with a sore throat. I did a lot of grocery shopping today. Had Sonic. My favorite snack!
