unfinished portrait of the place that i had to move out of last october
#i started this piece a year before that#this was maroon colored but for some reason that made tumblr flag it so its blue now#its kind of weird that this is one of the best still life renderings ive ever done and its not even finished#i only worked on it for a couple of hours#this was shortly after my second emdr session where the world seemed to shift into something more tangible seemingly overnight#emdr is weird because its the only time ive ever experienced a higher baseline of peace. i could finally do art again.#and all of my inner identity unraveled into little pieces that began to pick themselves up and try again while comforting the rest#and unfortunately that was the beginning of the end of all of it#pieces of me let themselves die and move on and i began to realize i was no longer the same person and i could never be#and yet that i was the same person i willingly threw away. and how i wanted to be that little kid all grown up more than anything#if you read that. hi#digital#doodles#tag diary#artists on tumblr#painting#realism#art
