Just a Tag Hate Thought...

If someone hasn’t tagged their ship hate as jon x sansa or jonsa, and has actually tagged it as “anti” as we have requested, is there really a reason to go after them?

I know it might still show up in the “Search” because tumblr is so very stupid, and its annoying and eye-rolly af, but haters are always and 5ever gonna hate. It seems to make more sense to ~Save the Salt~ for those deserving people who actually bring their wank and vitriol into the Tag, no? All I’m sayin’ is there’s no need to call Bullshit if nothing stinks!

You ever see someone spewing negativity but you find yourself somewhat agreeing with them? Like you know they're basically bashing something you may like and yet you can't find much fault in what they're saying? Like I can remember seeing a HUGE hate rant about Liz/Hellboy in the HB tag once and I love HBLiz, but what they were spewing was rational hate and even if I didn't like how they were going about their hate, I couldn't fault them because I also saw and agreed with what they wrote... Is this something other people gave felt? Or am I just a weird libra lol.

I just saw something posted in a general show tag, but it also had the character’s tag attached to it. Now I happen to agree with this particular opinion, but that doesn’t mean that I think it belongs ANYWHERE in the tags, ESPECIALLY in that character’s tag. there are anti- tags for that very reason.

NEVER EVER EVER tag the character you are hating on in your posts. And don’t put the general show tag on them unless they are properly tagged either so people can blacklist that shit. 

No, wait, I take that back. Just don’t put the show tag on it. Or put that shit under a cut. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY wants to go into the tag of their favourite character and see them being hated on.

(This is not directed at any one fandom, because it happens everywhere and it’s got to fucking stop. Jumping jesus on a pogo stick.)

I hate the tumblr mobile app when it comes to tagging shit. It doesn’t properly filter out the hate in a tag. Like I’ve gone into the tags for two of my ships and I see hate for it - and some of it isn’t even tagged! The ship will be mentioned in the post but not tagged and I can still see it! Tumblr mobile needs to get its shit together.

Personally, I don't like the Sansa/Petyr ship, but is all that tag hate really necessary?

If you think that the pairing is creepy/gross/disgusting that's fine, but nobody really cares so you don't need to tag it.
