We don’t acknowledge how good this tag line is
Please that’s amazing. I don’t think it was on American posters? We don’t get the tag lines and cool posters anymore 😔 I blame marvel.
Also to all you kids out there- if I have to explain a phone line to you I’ll cry.
you are the milk to my coffee and damn I live for the milk in my coffee
Ao3 readers, what's the ideal number of tags or lines of tags for a fanfic??
I'm asking because of the whole issue with that one fic that's part of like 25 fandoms and has 1500+ tags. Obviously that's unreasonable and reinforces the idea that there should be some type of limit.
For me, I'm not too picky. If the entire fanfic post (title to bottom of the summary) can fit on my phone screen, I'm generally good with it. So that's about a max of 20ish lines? (from warnings to additional tags).
Lemme know what's your ideal number of tags.
Who watches any of the Real Housewives??? 😂
Happy FFWF! If each of your fics had a poster, what would the tag line be? You don't have to do all of your fics, but it'd be awesome to see taglines for as many as you want to share. :) (Throwing this ask back at you because I loved it and would love to see what you come up with!)
Happy FFWF!!
AHh thank you! I went the complete crack route for these so forgive me for just messing around with it lol

I was tagged for this - by now my favourite tag game ^^ - by @mariahwritesstuff! Thank you very much for thinking of me! Your questions are thought-provoking and I’m excited for them! ^^
Here goes!
1. What scenes are the worst to write?
A long time ago, I might have said fighting scenes (and I might still stand by that, a little bit), but I actually wrote one once and it wasn’t half bad and I actually enjoyed it! ^^
I guess I’m going to stick with romantic scenes.
I don’t know how to explain it. Romance - it just - doesn’t work for me. One day. Maybe. Or never. I don’t really think my writing is really missing anything by not having romance, so I don’t feel any pressure at all to write romantic scenes, but I am tempted to try some more subtle romantic writing!
2. What can you say is a thing you love most about your writing?
The fact that it came out of my brain! ^^ To be honest, I like a lot of things about my writing. I like the stories I write, I love my characters, I like reading my story out loud (especially as I polish it up) and I just love my writing.
I think it would be infinitely harder for me to be a writer if I didn’t love my writing. I mean, sure, it frustrates me sometimes, and yes, there are moments of big doubt in my writing skills, but in the end I’m just proud and happy to have written something that’s mine.
3. What is writing advice that you take to heart?
None, really. Or maybe just one: Write. Just write. Write, write, write. ^^ Other than that, I tend to experiment a lot and see what works and what doesn’t.
4. How do you keep yourself from quitting writing altogether?
I started writing because I was passionate about it. I guess because of that, I don’t think I’ll ever give it up. There were several late nights and outrageously early mornings dedicated to writing projects that never went anywhere, but to be honest I don’t regret a single minute! ^^ It’s just something I love to do. I couldn’t ever really stop!
5. What is the strangest thing you searched up on the internet for writing purposes?
Hmmm. I’ve searched for ancient stethoscopes and other medical equipment to see what is and isn’t possible for humans to make without electricity and all that stuff that we have today.
I’ve searched for how long it takes to walk over long stretches. I’ve searched for how women dealt with hygiene in ye olden days - especially menstruation. I’ve searched for the kinds of foods that people from around the world used to eat long ago.
I don’t think any of the above is strange, but it certainly is interesting! ^^
6. Not a question, but shoutout a writeblr (or multiple) that you think needs to hear that they are awesome and doing a great job (by the way everyone, you all are awesome and doing a great job. Keep it up).
So. Many. Writeblrs.
I’m gonna give them a quick shoutout here, and it’s great to get to do this because I’ve been MIA for a bit of a long time (months in Tumblr time, I think! ^^).
@coloursintheblur, @trickster-writes, @norawritess, @ren-c-leyn, @tea-and-pirates, @mvcreates, @nectareouswrites, @candy687, @farrradays, @kaatiba, @alexwillow, @pied-piper-of-hamlet, @the-scum-initiative, @geisterbilder, @clawhee-writes, @tlbodine,
There are undoubtedly dozens more ^^’ I’m just really tired and half-asleep at the moment!
Everyone - I’m so happy to have been able to meet you through this platform! You’re all extremely skilled writers and I hope to keep reading lots more wonderful writing from you ^^
7. Your OCs are trapped on a deserted island, what would they be doing?
Oh dear! I have so many OCs - and many of them aren’t too good at playing nice with others. I suppose it would be a very chaotic situation. Some blood might be shed. Some people might quite like being all alone on an isolated island... Others might despise being stuck there with the rest of them! ^^
It would certainly be a very messy situation. I imagine they’d probably split up into groups and do their best to keep out of each others’ way (well, most of them anyway). Conflict is bound to happen.
8. What is your biggest inspiration for your WIPs? (could be a book, other forms of media, your own experiences etc.)
I’m not entirely certain. I guess inspiration comes from everything - experience, songs, books, movies, stories, studies... The list is endless! ^^
9. A habit you have when it comes to writing?
I tend to write at night because it’s the only time I can sit down and just write, uninterrupted. The problem is that I tend to stay up until the wee hours of the night and sacrifice sleep.
Sometimes I just can’t help it. The words demand to be written!
10. A fact about your world and/or characters?
My fantasy novels take place on one continent. I have an entirely other set of stories planned for the other continents and regions of my world, one of which is curiously mysterious...
11. If your WIP/s got turned into a movie or series, what would be the quote on the promotional poster or trailer?
Oooh, this is a good one! ^^ I am extremely tempted to make these bad just for the sake of it! Featuring that deep suspenseful man voice from most trailers.
Apartment: Cup of sugar? Think again.
The Fall of the Black Masks: What’s going on? Nobody knows.
The Pirates of Sissa: This has pirates.
An Entity in Your Midst: One, two: These monsters are coming for you.
