Update: It appears the issue has been fixed! Write and read on folks!
Attention: Fellow Writers & Readers
PSA: Regarding my Castiel tag list. For almost 6 weeks, Tumblr has been inexplicably hiding original content posts on this blog from the /search screen under any and all tags I put on said posts. After much frustration, research, trial and error, and enough blood, sweat, and tears to seal the gates of Hell and salt and burn a body or two, I discovered that by eliminating the tags to other users on my posts, the posts magically appear in /search. Until such time as Tumblr fixes this glitch, I won’t be including the Castiel tag list in original posts. I will, however, include the list when I reblog (a single time the same or next day) the post.
Other writing blogs: I know this is happening to some of you too! Whether you realize it or not, it might be why I see a bunch of writers discussing the lack of feedback, likes, comments, reblogs, etc. on their work. As mobile reader, I wholly rely on the /search feature to find recent posts. For me, it’s cumbersome to scroll through the /tagging function on mobile since not everyone employs prudent use of keep reading breaks. I’d been wondering about the lack of recent fics to read lately, and lo and behold, stalking visiting my favorite blogs I see new content which doesn’t appear on /search.
Spread the word! (I’d tag some of you, but I don’t want Tumblr to hide my post!)
