favorite color: Really depends what it's for and what's around it. Generally I like the green-blue-purple end of the spectrum, but I have a soft spot for a good deep red too.
last book: In the middle of a nonfiction book about Operation Mincemeat.
last movie: White Christmas with family a couple of days ago.
last show: I don't even remember; it's been so long since I properly watched a TV show. I really miss the weekly airing of shows that would build up a longstanding fandom instead of being expected to binge the whole thing.

Most of the week was spent writing either spoilery things, straight up smut, and also a combination of both for my @omegaharryfest story. This takes place when Harry is pregnant, doesn’t realize it despite many symptoms, and Niall has to set him straight over a hospital cafeteria breakfast.
Harry’s eyebrows knit together in confusion. “Baby? What baby?”
Niall nonchalantly places a bear claw, two clementines, and an extra large paper coffee cup onto his tray.
“Your baby. You’re pregnant. But it’s probably early days so I’ll pretend to be surprised when you officially announce it in a few weeks.”
Harry shakes his head. “Ni, I’m not pregnant.”
“Step into my office.” Niall walks to the cashier and Harry follows blindly. “All this plus he’s getting a multigrain toast, large ginger tea, and a liter of water. Thanks dear.”
Niall throws the older woman behind the register a wink as he dips his card for payment.
They gather their food and sit at an empty table in the corner. Harry tears off the corner of a slice of toast and forces it into his mouth.
“Haz. Is today the first day you have felt sick?”
“No. I threw up at my desk yesterday. Been kinda queasy on and off the last two weeks though. But that doesn’t mean I’m pregnant. Maybe I have gallstones.”
“Any other weird things going on?”
Harry lowers his gaze to the table. “I called a woman the C word, then stole her avocados at the grocery store.”
“Christsakes Harry. Can I be frank?”
“Always.”
“Okay.” Niall sips his coffee and gathers his thoughts. “I smelled you when I stood next to you, even through the neutralizers. ‘Course your scent is easier to suss out since we have known each other so long, plus we’re both O’s but I really smelled you. Then there is the new aversion to foods, the nausea, and verbal assault and petty grocery theft. Also, don’t hate me, but I can see your nipples from a mile away in your scrub top.”
Everything and nothing makes sense. But he would know if he was carrying a pup.
“But what if it’s a gluten allergy?” he asks and subtly pushes his toast away.
