Taichi Yagami Week day 1 : Taichi & Yamato @taichiyagamiweek

Decided to do taichi week with his friends but each one is the moments before they got sealed away in their crests (in my au) and he was left alone forever.

The moment between Taichi and Yamato where he protects tai. Yamato tries to protect taichi from piemon, feeling responsible for him getting hurt while waiting for him. He tries to stand between the two and him and the team try to help him despite Taichi trying to get back up to fight. Right before they get hit and sealed away, Yamato pushes taichi and saves him.

So there’s day 1 :)

Taichi Week 2024 Survey!

Is it crazy that I already have my Taichi Week 2024 entries all mapped out? It's in like JULY 🤣

But the prompts are very easy to work with as a graphic maker, I will either do a gif set or a lock screen set or both depending on time constraints (I mean technically I can start working from this weekend, maybe finish by July? 🥴)

Regardless I'm very excited for everyone to see my ideas!! A little teaser, Taichi with:

Taichi Yagami Week day 3 : Taichi & Jou @taichiyagamiweek

In this au, jou was treating Taichi immediately because his injuries were more severe. He wraps his arm up with the help of koushiro who hands over what he needs, all the while stressfully scolding Taichi who insists he doesn’t need to worry. That he isn’t that hurt. Jou ignores him, the responsibility of keeping all the kids safe and he and Yamato guard him together and he protects them when Piemon seals the children away, taking one of the card attacks meant for them both. Taichi knows he wouldn’t have survived to this point if Jou didn’t care for him. He misses Jou a lot, wishing he could lean on him just once in all the years he’s on his own.

Taichi Yagami Week day 2 : Taichi & Sora @taichiyagamiweek

Sora and Taichi, right before she was sealed away, had a very intense and quick argument. Sora demanding him to stay put, angry he out his life in danger the way he did, almost dying in the process. Taichi is trying desperately to get back up, adamant he’s fine but she shoves him back, demands Yamato keeps his eyes on the moron and turns to the fray, where she gets sealed away just moments later. Taichi blames himself for it, wishing he was stronger.

Taichi Yagami Week day 7: Taichi & Hikari @taichiyagamiweek

Hikari was there when Takeru was helping Taichi. She cried as she helped him move to a more safer place where Jou and Yamato would look after him. She hugged him and whispered ‘thank goodness you’re ok’ before she told him that she was going to make sure that she keeps them safe. He told her to stay with uphim. Stay safe. She’s still not fully recovered. She’s his baby sister he has to protect her. But she went anyway and was sealed into her crest. Taichi will never forgive himself. How can he ever go back home when he promised to protect her?

Taichi Yagami Week day 6: Taichi & Koushiro @taichiyagamiweek

An extension in the au with Koushiro helping Jou as he tends to Taichi. Koushiro is stressed and ends up getting upset with Taichi, asking once again why he didn’t let him fight. He’s determined. He wants to fight this time. He tells Taichi he’s going to borrow his courage for a while and rushes ahead. Moments later, he too is sealed away. When Taichi picks up his crest, he wonders if maybe Koushiro took his courage along with him.

Taichi Yagami Week day 4: Taichi & Takeru @taichiyagamiweek

In this au, Takeru helped Yamato settle taichi down and told him not to move. He cried and was scared of how hurt Taichi was and worried until Sora yelled some sense into him. Takchi just wanted to be strong for takeru so he didn’t get scared. Taichi remembers takeru telling him to have faith in them. That they’re there and will help to win against Piemon. He was one of the first to get sealed away and Taichi is certain Yamato hates him because he can’t forgive himself either.
